1 ReplyFunny thing is they already announced how IB was gonna change and be "better" where you can straight up buy what you want from Saladin and what not when Season 2 drops in December and even knowing this, people still jumped on knowing the current IB is hot garbage... Seems like some of y'all just go out of your way to complain about crap that's already been complained about. Probably the same people who complain about getting their ass kicked in crucible because they can't go around and kick everyone else's ass.

I've done 4 packages so far this time and gotten another helmet and chest piece. I'm doing enough to get the days challenge, so I play until I get about two packages. Then I'm done. It looks like I probably won't get the boots or the mark :( That being said the horrible rng of Iron Banner reminds me of vanilla destiny.

I couldn't even bring myself to log on for IB, I think I've been on the game maybe ten minutes in the last month, and that was just for the faction rally. Did 40+ ranks last time on one toon and didn't even get the full set, just can't bring myself to do it again.

13 RepliesPlayed for a couple of hours yesterday, now up to 32 packages in total and still not a full armor set. Logged in today, played 3 games to get the challenge done and... signed out. I can't find the energy to actually play just to gather enough tokens to get another duplicate drop of gear I already have. Bungie, you've messed IB up so bad... lacking powerlevel advantage, lacking choice to actually buy the armor piece or weapon you can't get from rng. It's not worth grinding just to 'maybe' get what you need. And yes, after over 30 packages you should be able to have a complete set. Why not be able to buy the gear for legendary shards after 30, 40 or even 50 packages. That would give you a reason to atleast grind the event.

After I'm reading half a page of complaints you really have to put in into perspective Bungie.... This is a "game" its meant to be fun challenging yet rewarding. Don't make it a chore for the player to get out a reward from the game which they have earned with their valuable time. Nonrelated event engram drops are an insult. If it's not an Iron Banner Item it shouldn't belong PERIOD. I don't care if its 50 tokens for purchasable event-specific items, priority is that the player can have a clear sight of how to attain a reward through an activity. main points.. - respect the players time/ grind - adjust reward system for certain events, especially Iron Banner -Tokens are not bad just the random rewards/repeats (example I have 5 pairs of lucky pants but no Stomp-EE5?) wtf is that? side note if you stop giving us trash weapons and engrams that were garbage maybe most of your player base would have more time to do more activities and have fun instead of grinding for stuff they have to dismantle because its either garbage, looks like garbage or a repeat of garbage Im boycotting Iron Banner until season 2,

Same. Repeat after repeat, all guns. Armor doesn't exist, it seems. All this time being wasted for p.o.s. tokens that convert into p.o.s. guns that I've already seen 4 times per gun. Literally trying just out of desperation.

In all seriousness ppl screaming about nothing to grind for, then flip out when they can't get what they want. We need something to grind, well here it is. You want that IB gear? Get too it. You have till Monday. Still though it would be nice to have something to spend those legendary shards on.. like a weapon or armor piece would be nice.
