Yeah, there are options in HMT under some tags to increase the texture quality in the maps. It takes some time, but you have to go into each individual map and check the highest quality setting. (Okay, I've tried to google the thread I read it from, but I can't find it anywhere. I can't remember which tags you're supposed to be looking through, either.
