Is there any reason to keep ghosts, I get lots of them from the bright engrams when i level up, are they good for anything? - as far as i concerned the only useful ghost is the green EDZ ghost that shows chests,
rest of the ghosts are useless...
what about the white level 1 ghost? (the damaged one) should i keep it?
-
I keep the ones that give me bonus XP on a certain destination
-
not really just keep the ones you like
-
Yeah keep the ghost for when they add the snowballs. Hide a ghost in a snowball and through them at other guardians
-
Depends on the perks you get on them. Outside of that only if you like their looks. I have a great Crucible Ghost that gives 10% extra XP and 10% increase on Faction rewards. Io Ghost that shows both chests and resources Nessus Ghost for chests and 10% more Glimmer on Nessus. The ones that do Gunsmith telemetry are not that great IMHO and easily disposed of...

Nope cause bungie will be wiping all of it for D3

Edited by mikadri: 11/20/2017 7:16:26 PMWell,I have a "Kill Tracker Ghost",-I´m close to 150K now... -also an EDZ Ghost gives me 10 % extra glimmer, and shows chests.
-
Until a ghost is able to give me some sort of API tracking feature, like the Kill Tracker Ghost, I have no use for any other Ghost than Bright Dust.
-
dismantle them for 100 dust each, then but an emote or something

They roll with different perks. I have 1 ghost that grants extra XP and glimmer on Nessus. Then another that grants glimmer, and shows chests nearby on Earth. Then, a few others that grant gunsmith XP on void/arc/solar kills. It's up to you to decide if they're worth keeping.

The EDZ ghost was useful during the early weeks in the game. It is not of much use now that many players have a lot of tokens. Most new ghosts that I receive get deleted because I have a large inventory of tokens and other items. I usually switch ghosts when changing between PvE and PvP activities. This simplified approach allows me to focus on other things.

Ideally, I would have a 10% XP and Glimmer for each planet. Only got Titan :'( A tracks resources and chests for each just to make those challenges quicker. I use the telemetry ones to fill in when I'm missing an xp one.

I did a mini-grind for ghosts until a got a Chest/Resource version for each planet and a XP/Token ghost for Crucible. I locked those and deleted the rest. Would be nice to have a set for all three characters but it's easy enough to swap them around.

Edited by Ekaterine: 11/20/2017 5:35:57 PMNo, just get the bright dust from them

Usefulness is apparently in the eyes of the beholder. If you feel the green one given in the early game is "best" then so be it. Just realize that legendary ghosts have two perks instead of the one. As well, a legendary ghost can have that same perk, so somewhere out there is a ghost roll that has the perk you like, plus one other. I would advise keeping one ghost per planet. As to the initial ghost, no idea, there does not appear to be a current benefit for keeping it. But if I recall, D1 also didn't give a clear reason to hold onto that initial AR in the vanilla game.

I’ll usually keep the ones that show chest and/or resource locations for each planet for when I️ farm planet specific tokens. But you can always just use Caydes scouting reports instead. The ones that give you telematries for the gunsmith are pretty pointless as the gunsmith mats you get from dismantling gear are more plentiful and easier to get anyways. Probably the only ones that might actually be worthwhile are the ones that give a 10% exp bonus, but I️ don’t know how those work with the supposed exp cool cap that people have been talking about.
