[PC] Cayde Chests Still Constantly Empty

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZl6uh54TKI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPRdlTDSClk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBoRX6M0ij0 Week after week, Cayde chests are a consistent source of disappointment. This was a problem on XBOX and PS4 when Bungie said they were investigating and now it has moved to PC with no news of a fix. Is fixing this going to be part of the DLC drop in December? Is it a mystery like the Destiny 1 heavy ammo bug? None of the above? Last time I saw it mentioned was 9/28/17. https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/46359 It is expected that if too many planetary chests are opened within a short amount of time, players may not receive items. Cayde’s Stash and Lost Sector chests should not follow this functionality. We will provide updates on our investigation when available.

  • I have not had time to test, but I will this week. there is a theory that the Cades chests share a loot timer with other chests, that is if you loot them to close together you get nothing for it. I plan to loot one chest each day when I login, there's only 5 chests available so this is easily achievable each week before reset. Loot 1 chest, then do a crucible, then loot another, then a crucible etc.. should also work
