So this is about the tenth time I have had to write this in about a week on these forums. Stop comparing D2 to vanilla Destiny. Why are you even doing that? Why do you think it is a fair comparison? These are not 2 different games you are trying to compare in their beginning or infant stages. DESTINY 2 IS YEAR 4 OF DESTINY. You should be asking yourself.... "have they made Destiny better now in year 4 since vanilla Destiny (year 1)?" You understand that D2 was suppose to be the best parts of everything they have learned from years 1-3 don't you? They said themselves we are wiping the slate clean so we can best implement all of these new changes and make the best possible game and not have to carry over any of the bad, leave anything we need to behind. So this is the product of their decision, but it is still year 4 of their 10 year plan for Destiny. Same lead characters, same enemy races, same story continuation. So in all fairness....D2 should be way better than anything we say the first 3 years of Destiny. It was the expectation of them leaving it all behind and us only being able to carry over the "look" of our character. Remember that?
