I always thought it was fun to have friendly fire in games but this one turns me off to it. Some people think they're so good apparently that they're more confident killing a teammate so they can get the weapon they want (if their teammate just picked it up). I've seen this happen several times now to both my whole team and myself. I pick up a blue or purple sniper and boom my teammate shotguns me down and the kills me. It's a really annoying way to end a run you have put time into. Nothing I can do about it... Just seems odd this would fly... I could get to third place only to have a teammate kill me out of nowhere. I feel like you should be able to boot for it at least as a deterrent. Like if it's a certain percent of my health so it's clearly on purpose or if they finish you while you're down it's pretty obvious it's a team kill.
Edit: happened 3 times just tonight since. I got off work. Seems to be extremely prevalent on Xbox especially if they're a group and it fills you onto their party. Also I had a little kid on my team constantly asking me not to kill him. Seems it happens to lots of people on Xbox.

In games like battlefield, I would find it okay since you re spawn, but not in a game with perma death. This needs to be addressed.

Edited by Blargwahar: 11/20/2017 5:08:23 PMI like team killing. It adds an extra layer of strategy and realism (I know Fortnite is far from realistic) by not having your team mates in front of you when you are shooting at someone. Also, it's funny to team kill your friends when we have really bad RNG and then put their body in a box. We've all started calling it the petting zoo. I even edit the walls to make them super low so that they can see over them, but not get out.

1 ReplyI've never had this problem. Mostly because when I play with randoms, they die almost as soon as the match starts.

3 RepliesAwww, now that I’m done arguing with you over Warframe I’m happy to see we can find common ground on fortnite lol I think that if you down a teammate it shouldn’t punish you, because it may have been an accident. If you straight up kill your teammate you should be removed from the match. Me and my buddies play in a 3 stack and if our random takes shots at one of us that dude just made the worst mistake of his life.

2 RepliesReport that teammate after you die, I’m fairly confident epic games will ban theme something

4 RepliesKeep it. I have trouble believing this is at all common. Unless consoles are actually more toxic than PC... No, no, that could never be true...
