Really, I come here to enjoy the gameplay but then I get matched with people which just speedrun and skip the most parts of an strike. If you hate strikes so goddamn hard why you even playing them? For me isn't the definition of fun in destiny to get to the loot fast at -blam!- possible... I want to enjoy this stories but some people still keep me away from this. Seriously, we need a heroic strike playlist where vehicles like sparrows are disabled and you have to completely kill every trashmob in the mission area (does not mean the entire strike). Am I the only one who think this strikes are still to easy at the moment?
Edit: I really have to explain more, right? I am not slow as -blam!- in this game and mostly I AM the fastest in my strikes but it is funny when People just run, run and run and ignore enemies. Sometimes I am tried to report them for griefing.

For some reason I always have double or more the kills running passed everything than Mr. No risk stand in the back with my scoutrifle shooting 3 minutes at Ogres. I'm tired of those "story lovers" who don't know how a strike works, insist on it lasting 20 minutes instead of 10 & are still clearing f'ing mobs where I slammed the orb when I already killed the 2nd tank.....the amazing story of shooting the 1st tank....please. Story you & the horse you rode in on.

You can stay back and shoot your dregs, I don't need you to get to the boss anyways. Sorry in advance for ruining your fun when I get there, if it was up to me I would just leave you back there. Sincerely, Not a scrub

Just do the strike by yourself, problem solved

I only do nightfalls in D2 and kinda have to hurry along rather than playing pat-a-cake with every damn vex. Though it was much the same in D1. If I’ve run the strike fifty eleven times before, why wouldn’t I skip the bits I don’t need to do? If you have particular requirements then perhaps you should lfg for like minded people to run (or crawl) strikes with?

If I see one person hanging back and killing stuff, and one dude flying ahead, I usually hang back with the dude shooting stuff. If I see both people bum rushing, I usually rush with. I play to my fireteam. What frustrates me more, is people not chaining supers. Or to go through an entire strike, holding on to it until the last boss. Drop them sweet orbs!

Listen. If you stopped killing the Goblins on top of the Pyramidion (exception: Taken Psions spawning) then I'll stop running through it. Leave the idle Goblins alone.

4 RepliesI hate people who feel the need to post complaints about how strangers choose to play in a video game. Not everyone wants to stop and smell the roses. There are parts of strikes where it’s helpful to kill everything, but all strikes also have parts that can and probably should be run through quickly in the name of efficiency. Bottom line, though, is who the F cares how randoms play? Get a fireteam if it bothers you that much. I’d rather get paired with randoms who speedrun than slowpoke losers who lag behind the whole time. Due to the nature of all the strikes, if you constantly find yourself way behind your teammates, YOU are the odd man out who is not contributing to the important parts of the strike. Finally, learning how to do strikes quickly is now more appropriate than ever given the ever present NF timer.

I don't do strikes often but when I do I speed-run them. I still usually have the most kills of anyone in the fireteam. Keep up.

4 RepliesI love speed running strikes. I feel like that's what makes it fun. Ita a strike, it's supposed to be fast paced. When a cobra strikes it doesn't take it time
-
5 RepliesAdd me on psn I’ll walk strikes with you, I hate speed running them. D2 or d1 strikes
-
1 Replyso your not in favor of my 10 agility hunter with mida-tool :-) ? should I walk the entire strike ? or better yet should I just not shoot and watch you play ?
-
Blame it on the Nightfall, I always think it's timed.

3 RepliesHold on. Wait. Wait. People do strikes?

2 RepliesThe aim is to kill the boss not go on a sight seeing tour

I played a strike a few days ago for the first time in forever. The other two players immediately took off on thier sparrows and somehow managed to both die within the first 30 seconds. I took my time and went along very leisurely, just working on handcannon aim and ended up out killing both of them by far and had like 35 precision kills while they each had like 5-7.
