Remove trials or fix it don't leave it so broken
There is no reason to be matched against players you would never fight in regular or competitive so why the flying -blam!- are they high level to low level in nine it's disgusting fix it or remove it.
remove power weapons
add a ranking system
never and I mean NEVER match anyone with 100 difference in rank not light levels

16 RepliesWhen i see players with k/d's 2+ in the other team, 90% of the time those players are almost unkillable. But they do kill me as easy as in CoD Hardcore. The same happened in D1. (which i played for 3600+ hours) Do they have special weapons and special armor i don't know about? Nobody from Bungie was ever able to answer this question for me.

Why add ranks if the rewards you get for being high ranked are the same for being low ranked? If anything, a ranking system should be added to competitive Crucible, not Trials.

2 RepliesRemove power? You're out of your mind. Playing for power ammo is a strategic aspect of the game that gives the players a point to strategize around. The way teams control the map in order to secure power ammo is a major aspect of strategy in survival, specifically. Power ammo means map control matters. Map control requires some sort of teamwork and strategy. This is a team-based FPS in which teamwork and strategy should be rewarded, as well as gunskill, decision making, timing, etc. Securing power ammo is a reward to the team that controlled the right area at the right time. Not only that, it forces the team that doesn't get power to strategize a counter-play to deny them making a huge play with power ammo. Removing power would be to remove incentive for people to play intelligently. It would slow down the game even more. And players would feel LESS POWERFUL becuase no one would ever get to make an awesome play, as it's nearly impossible to do so without power weapons. Feeling less powerful than in D1 has been one of the biggest turn-offs to D1 veterans in D2. Don't like dying to rockets because they take "no skill"? Maybe don't let the "no skill" enemy control the map and secure power ammo.

Round one. Sure. Round 7. No. I hate trials because every time we play we have no wins (ever) and get a team on 6 wins in full gear on their 3-4 run of the weekend. Now if we both had 6 wins fine but 0vs 6? Why? Average kd on our team was 0.96. Theirs was 1.6 So yeah put the 0 wins 0 losses round against the same level in the trial. Not 6 wins in against 0 matches played.

The game's matchmaking system admittedly does need tweaking (not particularly talking about trials, just in general). It's plain to see.

Pvp in destiny is a joke until they fix ppl using keyboard and mouse with aim assist on. It makes the game unplayable and complete garbage.

Last weekend my friends and I played a trials match and got stomped. It was frustrating but we brushed it off and continued to play. Next match we played was against the same first team we went against and again we got stomped. After that we decided to be done, in fear of getting paired against them again

Any sort of SBMM or ranking systems should not exist in a game that is P2P or player hosted.

What do you mean by 100 difference? If you mean light level, then it doesn't matter. Light level is disabled in Trials, unless Bungie changed it recently. If you mean Elo, then I hate to be that guy, but Bungie has never used Elo as a factor in PvP (hence why they never tracked it in D1).
