Ask and Ye Shall Receive... A Refund
Not trying to be that guy who comes on here and is all "I'M DELETING DESTINY, I'M OUT, THANKS FOR NOTHING BUNGIE!"
I mean, I was unhappy enough to ask for a refund, but moving on is easy when you're not enjoying yourself.
I digress.
If you purchased Destiny 2 through your Xbox and would like a refund, quite literally, all you have to do is ask. I went to microsoft > xbox support > and merely expressed my disappointment and asked for a refund. I even had the digital deluxe edition. Refunded.
If you're having fun with Destiny 2, that's awesome but please move on from the post, this is truly just an informative post for people who find themselves not playing at all anymore and would like the $ back in their wallets :)

I hate it when people who get refunds on the game played on all three characters. If you were truly dissatisfied with the game you wouldn't have done that

4 RepliesI really hope your account gets stripped and permanently removed. Is this an invitation to come to X place you work, place an order for X product, use said product and then several months later go "Oh this wasn't what I wanted, I've only used it for over 80 hours. Please give me a refund!"

I know many players feel cheated and of course the best way to hit them is in the wallet as that is about the only place companies feel a damn thing but I feel like if you played this much you got something out of it. I guess for some it was just that they got the realization that this was not the game they were promised.

7 Replieshopefully your account gets banned since you basically stole from Bungie. If after the expansions and DLC you decide to play again you should have to start completely over and not from your current progression level

The fact that the gaming companies think they can falsely advertise their products and not have any consequences is outlandish. Every other company and product in America are held accountable, who in the hell said games shouldn’t be? This baffles me. No matter how many hours you put into the game it still doesn’t negate the fact it was falsely advertised. We have laws against that. You definitely do deserve your money back if this is true. Now, I don’t agree with playing a game and getting your money back just because, but this game clearly has been participating in deceptive practices from the very beginning of D1, and we can’t let this type of business practice continue. There needs to be more regulations and laws in the advertising process of gaming development. It’s only a matter of time this will be the case, because gaming companies have now figured out they can use false advertising and hype to exploit their customers out of money. They figured out no matter the quality they release their content in after the fact once they get your money, that’s it. There are no laws right now regulating this. That just isn’t ok and must be changed. Bump.

I might be too late but I'm going to wait till DLC. I might be too late by then but if I'm not happy with the DLC, I'm gonna ask for a refund.

Huh, everyone must be refunding the game then, because I got a refund at Dominos. At first they said "we dont...sell video games". To which I said "....dude....its destiny 2...come on" The manager said "omg, sooo sorry to hear that, here ya go, just toss the CD in that trash can over there"

The game was a joke from beginning when they revealed the gameplay. I might see if Sony will refund too.
