Give this a try. This was recommended to me from someone on the Destiny Tech Support subreddit. I, like you guys/gals, have been having issues with the game crashing every 45min to an hour. What this person suggested was to make a new admin windows account on my PC. Then, only play Destiny 2 on that account. I just got off of my first playsession on that windows account and I was able to play for 2 and a half hours without any crashes. It is a weird fix (and leads me to believe that somewhere something is running in the background and is causing issues with D2) but it works. It is also a huge hassle to have to sign out of my main windows account to play one game but at this point it is a very welcome solution. Just make sure that the new windows account you make for D2 does indeed have admin privileges. When you log in, make sure to set up any other programs you need running in the background (for me MSI Afterburner, Razer Synapse, my mouse software, and Real Temp).
