Game Crashing More Frequently Post 1.0.7.1 Hotfix

Issue Information:
Destination/Activity: Any/All
Description: After several minutes of play the game freezes and becomes unresponsive. This occurred rarely prior to 1.0.7.1 but after the hotfix it occurs frequently making the game unplayable.
Edit: I have deleted the cvars.xml file multiple times in addition to completely uninstalling/reinstalling the game and still experience the crashing issue. I have also run the Scan and Repair after experiencing the termite error after 1.0.7.1 went live.

I have the exact same issue. I have the same processor as you, maybe a driver update for the CPU will help?

I don't know if it's the game patch or the latest drivers. But I've getting freezes that requires me to restart the game. First time has happened since launch too. It sucks when it happens when you're in the raid.

Game is unplayable now after the hotfix. I can't log in for longer then 5 mins and rarely even get to my destination. This has been going on for over a week now. Not even added to the known issues. What is going on Bungie?!!! What a disappointing foray into PC gaming this is. Everything on my system us updated and ready to go. Nothing is over-clocked. Game has been un-playable for me over the last 6 hours. I have given up.

all we can really do is just basically bombard Bungie with requests just 4 them 2 communicate more, since well, they don't aside from twitter posts on their support twitter

I have this problem since the release of the game on the PC. Today I was in a nightfall strike, my game freeze and crashed and for that I received a penalty for 45 min. Great just great..

Yep, I crash randomly in all game modes anywhere from 1-3 times an hour. I get the "Destiny stopped responding" message. My system works fine with all of my other games. The mission "My Captain" crashes hard and totally shuts off my PC every time at the halfway point unless I turn settings WAY down (despite constant 90+ FPS with max settings). Before the patch I was crashing about half as much. This game is broken, Bungie needs to stop blaming the systems and fix this mess.

Same issue here as you all. Trying to raid and its impossible, crashed 5 times once in game not even for five minutes.

My game today crashed 4 times, It's the first time this happens so many times. Before, it only happened very occasionally.

Ive been CTD everytime I try to start an Ikora Vanguard Mission and randomly when loading to different scenarios. Idk wtf is going on, this never happened before the patch.

going to follow, I have exact same setup with 780ti but I've got random crashes since the launch. I've followed every instruction and forum but can't seem to handle crashing after 20-30mins. Only thing close to a fix I found was to manually keep my cvar fps to 60, but even then still crash after awhile.

Yea. I hadn't had ANY hard crashes until today, and now I've had 4 of the 80004005 variety.

I have yet to experience the game crash, however my frame rate does seem to be far lower.
