PC Termite Error
So upon updating today I now receive the below error message when signing in:
"Failed to download configuration files from Bungie servers, please try again.
For more information, visit help.bunger.net and search for error code:termite"
Now its only suggestion if this keeps happening is to uninstall and re-install the game...
I do not have the fastest connections and would rather not do that..

4 RepliesOpen the Battle.net Icon on your desktop. On the left side of the battle.net screen click on the Destiny Icon Look below the Destiny 2 Logo which is located near the upper left side of the page. You will see the word Options with a down arrow. Click on the down arrow and the Scan and Repair link is there. Click on the link and wait 2 to 5 minutes. Start the game again and "Smiles All Day"

People saying : stop complaining you just have to use Scan and Repair ? Are you kidding ? Yes, it works, but we still should not have to do that kind of thing. That the second time they broke something in the game instead of solving it. And still, they won't put the random crashes in their known issues list. Disgusting. I love the game so much, but all thoses issues...

BUMP IF PC IS BEST! lmao top kek.

2 RepliesAfter the update, seems like a lot of people are getting the "TERMITE" error. Please fix Bungie, seems like there is not a solution to fix. Very frustrating spending money on something that is broken.

I advice buy or preorder the game you want with pay pal. Then if it’s really bad just bounce the amount through PayPal they have a 180 day policy if the product is “not as described”. So you buy the game use there severs then take your money back so the intent is for them to spend resources and you get your money back. Nice incompetent bungie I Pay 100 dollars for a game joke full of bugs and above I have to "fix it", every day I always see bugs in his game rotten weasel, anteater , and now termite,, etc etc which follows? incompetents

Scan and repair under "options" cog on upper left of launch screen. Worked for me

I had this termite in the works but ran the scan and repair on the blizzard battlenet app which is in the options drop down box and now all is good

So Bungie...We PC gamers like the game but maybe make the game work and give us a proper chat so we can look for groups to do Raids and such? What do you think?Do I ask too much for the 100 euros I paid for the "deluxe" edition?
