They mention
"For example, you should no longer see “micro-stuttering” in games while using a GPU monitoring tool to look at the card’s power."
and
"but it also improves performance for those playing Destiny 2 on PC."
Wonder if the upcoming patch suppose to fix some of issues, so far the FPS is more stable on my 1080ti but the stutters are still there and I lost Full screen mode,
Also Exit to Desktop option only works on the character selection screen
***Update, well full screen works now, the only preset that is playable is 4K Medium, sucks for a 1080ti at 127% power, no frame rate cap, vsync at 70hz,
the problem with other presets is heavy stutter and frame delays, shows on the counter 70fps at high / custom highest for example but doesn't feel like 70fps
The thing that upset me is when I started this game last Friday it was rock solid 70fps for the entire campaign / some PVP no stutter or delays , After I joined a clan s*** hit the fan for FPS, i've been trying to find video settings that give me a stable FPS

crashed multiple times today, during strikes & raid, horrible FPS even at low settings, trying "force_auto_detect" value="1" and set affinity for Destiny to CPU 0,2,4,6,8,10 on my ryzen that way none of the SMT cores are active, I think that's the main problem for low FPS

2 RepliesAlso installed 388.31, the stutter is still here, might be slightly less frequent but could also be a placebo. As for the actual framerate on a 1080, i think it got worse on Titan. I don't remember dropping below 75, and now it definitely does. Exit to Desktop works as intended, my game is on windowed fullscreen.

2 RepliesSame issue bud. Ran at 4k 60fps on high since launch with 60vsync. After I did the update for the game it ran like shit capped me at 30fps and if I went down to 1440p I was stuck at 59fps (why 1 below idfk).

It is even worst than before

I have an issue with severe flicker in certain lightning situations (not all) using the latest drivers. I used the version prior to 388.31 and didn't really have an issue. An example of my issue with the latest driver: WARNING: Don't view if you suffer from epilepsy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqRsvUnlJn8 5820k 1080 x2 SLi Running at 4k res.

Installed 388.31 Drivers - mirco stutters / jerks after 5-10 min, over time worse (EDZ). My topic: https://www.bungie.net/ru/Forums/Post/237856901

2 RepliesEdited by OzzTheBozz: 11/16/2017 1:11:57 AMNo FPS gain here on my 1080TI at 1440P max settings. But the game runs a bit smoother now. Less stuttering. The stuttering over time still exists, need to restart every 1-2 hours.

2 RepliesEdited by Woodtree101: 11/16/2017 3:56:22 PMI can't run fullscreen unless I run the game at 1080p, anything above 1080p runs the game in forced windowed mode. Since installing the latest nvidia driver that is.

My performance is much better, but still crashes after about 4 hours.

micro stutter still exists for me

2 RepliesI have a color banding issue with 388.31 on 1080Ti FE. Same thing happened on 388.13. I have to roll back to 388.00.
