Gunnery Sergeant Avery Johnson's appearance change from halo 2 -3
I just just wondering, and i've wondered for a while, how come Johnsons looks a lot different in halo 3 and ODST than he does in halo CE and halo 2?

Jesus, don't remind me about Johnson's face in Halo 3. I still get nightmares.

well, in CE he could die, so i think there are alot of sgt.johnsons running around.

Graphics get better for each new game. I remember the cross-eyed Halo: CE Johnson. Just imagine he always looked like he does in Halo 3.

With changes in graphical capabilities you need to expect a change in the representation of the characters. If we apply what you are saying to another character it would be weird that Cortana looked so different as well.

Halo CE and Halo 2 weren't able to graphically depict Johnson as old as he really was. With Halo 3, they were able to properly render him in a way that showed how old he really was.
