What is the deal with the Destiny 2 hate?
This is literally just for the sake of doing my best to get information. I go to the community tab and I see a ton of hate for Destiny1/2 in general but I'm an active player in D2 having played D1 and I just don't understand. What is so bad about it? I've been playing D2 and having an amazing time doing so. What do people expect versus what is being provided to them? Again, literally just trying to find the truthful and most sense-making answer to this confusion of mine.
Some people are mentioning the loot system, but in my game, I have an exotic in every category of both armor and weaponry, so surely the loot system can't suck that bad? What is your input about how you feel about this?
Primary current frustration:
Light level currently- 273
Drops of purple/yellow/blue- ALL 265! Grr, I can't power any gear up with 265...

9 RepliesYou can't be that active if you are only to 273. And your current frustration is what everyone's frustration is, there is no loot to drive for, that is what gave D1 the ability to be played for hours on end day after day if you wanted to. The only way you are going to level up after 265 is through the weekly "powerful rewards" and you get like 5 a week. Once you hit 305, there is literally nothing to do in this game. In D1 you could grind for "god rolls", run strikes for strike specific loot, play what game type you actually wanted to play in crucible and there were more than 4 game types. That is what people are frustrated with. We had so much with D1 and it feels like it has all been taken away.
