It has become abundantly clear that hundreds of people have been banned/restricted without any justification at all. The number of people that claim to have been banned (including myself) is quite alarming. Surely bungie look at this and acknowledge the fact that they messed up.
I am an xbox player, and i have been for many years. I have played destiny since day 1, not once have i ever cheated or tampered with connection. Yet to my surprise as I'm inviting a carry to the game i notice that I'm 167 power without the access to crucible or my gear.
Bungie needs to get off their high horse and do something about this. I am a very competitive player and i love to challenge myself in the crucible but due to someone's stupidity and incompetence i can no longer do that. Not only have we been stripped of our ability to play but we haven't even been told why or what for. It's a disgrace that a company of bungie's magnitude can allow something like this to happen.
I'm ranked #2 in the world and my teammates have similar stats. Yes there may be some games that didn't go the distance but that is only because the other team knew that they didn't stand a chance. I cannot control the actions of another team. It is on their own accord. Most of my games can be seen on several streams by some of my teammates if nobody leaves me. There is video evidence to back this all up. An average team is not going to want to get farmed for 4/6 rounds knowing they can't do anything about it. These things happen. That is sbmm needs to be implemented into the game, i would rather lose a fair fight than get a free win simply because the other team fear us. I'm open to any challenge, it takes away from your experience if you are handed free wins. Bungie should be able to look at our games and be able to detect if a team has left on their own accord or if their connection has been tampered with.
I write this post to ask to you bungie, not for some generic copy/pasted post but for some legitimate answers.

LMAO how cute.

It's just a game. If I was restricted or ban, I won't be on the forums complaining about it. Just move on from this and learn from it. You guys treat this as live or death scenerio, but it's not. There's better things out there to voice your opinions then complaining in the forums about getting banned or restricted.

I’m not rioting for your dumbass getting banned

Edited by OGB: 11/9/2017 5:15:46 AMLmfao please riot, let more cheaters come out of the woodworks and admit their guilt as well. Don’t play with cheaters and you won’t get banned.

Statistically: People who scream and bark like that are less likely innocent. That's because of society now-a-days. You scream, you yell and you get what you want. Because the other ppl are just annoyed and want you be gone. I'm glad bungie ain't such backboneless ppl.
-
@Dynasty They aren't going to review bans. Its time for a riot! We all are thinking it.

I'm pretty sure they know whether the player purposely left the game or was kicked. Wouldn't those 2 different actions generate a separate netcode?
-
Edited by Chicowsg: 11/8/2017 1:13:15 PMBUMP with a huge option on RIOT, i've even seen a 4chan topic for it, guess a storm is comming too....

Who's this "we"?

Edited by Mr.Spartan126: 11/8/2017 6:38:14 PMYour best bet is to read over Bungie’s policy stated here. Obviously that’s not what you want nor is it what you need, but that article has the most official information you can get at this point. More or less, Bungie’s policy of not disputing bans and restrictions goes back to at least 2007(Halo 3) if not 2004(Halo 2), so your request of an official response or comment is all but nonexistent. The overturned bans recently were the first that I can remember seeing in a Bungie game, though that’s because they were PC related and that’s a lot more complex to deal with than consoles. You’ve been banned on console so I’m fairly sure that means that account is a lost cause, you’d be better off starting a new one at this point. Regardless, I hope this was helpful, if not, sorry to waste your time.

Ha, console players have been rioting for weeks. You PC players just got your invitation to the party.
-
Bump! This is the last guy that should get banned. Big time BS from bungie here.

Best anyone can do for this moment, what with absolutely zero legitimate response to the idea that they could have jumped the gun and gone ban-happy on a platform they are very much not well-suited for, is warn others it seems. "Hey, so just so yah know, there's a small chance Bungie will take your money and run. It really depends on your configuration, just be forewarned that you probably don't want to spend to much if you do get the game. Or invest too much time in it. Or, well, consider buying anything else they put on PC." I should have listened to all of the paranoid surrounding this game. YongYea and the other youtubers. But that sort of thing always sounds like it's blown out of proportion, y'know? What sucks is that because it's a system designed to deal with the people nobody WANTS in the game (TF2 is full of 'em), it's unlikely that something like this will be resolved from the inside, as the default on this sort of thing is to be desensitized and skeptical of anyone who claims innocence. This infrastructure for "Fair and fun" gameplay is terrible. I'd like to know who came up with it.

This has also happened to me and the fire team that i was running trials with on Monday evening. I have run with the same people for the past 2 years. This is not only restricted to trials, we play hours of regular crucible during the week. We do not invite random people, we play with people from the 2 clans that we have a foot in. We are not amazing players, but we hold our own. Sometimes teams leave, but that cannot be helped by anyone. Surely Bungie must be able to tell if a person or team leader pulls out of a game on their own accord? If not then the system they have is fundamentally flawed. I have put my heart and soul in to this game, along with my clan mates, and right now i honestly feel like a criminal. I know i will get absolutely nothing out of Bungie but if anything it might get them to look at the system they currently have in place and make some changes so that other innocent players are not driven out of this game.

I love all the hate people in this situation are receiving. Not only unjustified but backed by their own inability to play the game. I hope we are alll unbanned as this is my final straw for destiny. Total crap game in most aspects but trials was a lot of fun.
