This very well could be a phantom problem, but since the patches last week the game seems to be far less smooth. It seems to hitch for maybe 1/16 of a second at a time regardless of what I’m doing. It’s really short, but seems to happen almost constantly. Anyone else noticing this or am I going crazy?

1 ReplyThank you for your report. We are actively collecting reports of framerate issues on PC and forwarding them to appropriate parties for investigation. Additionally, it is recommended that players delete their existing CVARS.xml file as a first troubleshooting step. This file can be found in: \Users\USER_NAME\Appdata\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\ Note that when relaunched, the Destiny 2 application will generate a fresh CVARS.xml file.

I am also suffering from this. Already tried installing latest Nvidia Drivers, scanning and repairing the game, deleting cvars, lowering graphics but nothing is working. I think it's worth mentioning that i play on borderless mode I5 6600 GTX 1070 SC

1 ReplyI'm still getting it as well in the exact same situations as you, moving through areas or to new areas of a planet, public events or anywhere with a lot of action. It's not as bad as before but still awful to play with. I5-7600k GTX 1070 16gb Corsair ram 3200 Samsung 850 Evo

Edited by EAX: 11/8/2017 8:25:05 AMI have the exact same issue. Ive tried Drivers from 388.13 down to 385.69, used Display Driver Uninstaller Tool including Windows Safe Mode, even went that far to /format C: .... I tried Windows 10 v1607, ive tried v1709 (Creators), ive tried 3 different SSD drives ... Restarting the game only decreases the MS of the microstuttering to less than 30-50 MS, but it is still present, the EDZ World events with the drills straight up make the issue worse - but are not needed to make it appear at all. One thing i did notice is that NPCs or players might appear a bit too late when turning the mouse fast while the game micro stutters around and it only happens when mouse movement is done. Problem exists since i started playing the game... 4-6 days after official Launch. My full Systemrig is the following: i7 6800K @6x 3800MHz + Noctua NH-D15S @55°C Gigabyte X99 Extreme Gaming (F6a) Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M4A2400C14 Gainward GTX 1080 Goes Like Hell @72°C 2x Crucial MX100 256GB + 1x MX300 525GB Be Quiet Straight Power E10 600 Watt AOC G2770PQU 27' 144Hz Fractal Design Define R5 Window Zowie EC2-A Edit: Maybe it has something to do with wearing capes ingame aswell? Those sometimes completly glitch out and block the entire screen for some short moments and do other really awkward things - idk.

Just an update for anyone who comes across this. Rolling back to Nvidia WHQL 388.00 seems to have resolved the issue for me.

1 ReplyThis is an issue nobody has talked about on Xbox that is occasionally prevalent

2 RepliesThe stutter freezing problem has become worse on my system since the "hotifx". I would go as far now to call it unplayable in current state. i7- 4790k 32 gb of memory GTX 1080

Still receiving micro stutters as well. Before the patch that was introduced on Friday I was able to get pretty smooth performance considering my older CPU (50-100fps on medium/low settings). I can deal with frame dips, but the hitching really makes the game feel unplayable, especially when trying to ADS. i7 860 1050ti 8GB RAM Windows 10

Yup still stuttering and getting framedrop and low FPS after playing for 15-30 mins. It's not as bad as it used to be but it's still not playable.
