What is Precision Damage?
And how doe sit affect my throwing knife?
First off: What IS 'Precision Damage'? If that the headshots that do more damage?
Secondly: My throwing knife says the skill is refreshed if I get a 'Precision Kill with this melee'
1) Does that mean with the throwing knife? Or can a Precision melee stab when it's on CD refresh it?
2) Again, what IS 'Precision Damage' so I know what to aim for to have a rather lackluster throwing knife off it's abysmally long CD faster?

19 RepliesPrecision damage is headshots. The throwing knife doesn't do much extra precision damage unless you get the refresh kill or have the exploding knife perk. Honestly I prefer the exploding knife for crucible it does enough damage as at least two scout rifle bullets. I use the precision kill reset throwing knife for PVE. Mainly fallen and cabal. For little enemies its a one throw headshot. Sadly Gunslingers have no stab ability and lunge is almost nonexistent. Your melee ability is the throwing knife.
