If your here because "PC Crashing" caught your attention then your aware that they wont even address the issue on the known issues list, the twitter, they ignore the posts. you know it just as well as I do. Dont let them get away with this while they pimp out the DLC. We bought the game, our specs are where they told them we needed them, they sold us a broken product and are getting away with it.
If your not dealing with this issue then good for you but a good chunk of us are and our voices are drowned out by this convenient new ban wave. (as soon as this issue gets traction and volume suddenly there is a ban wave to shut it up)
They wont address it so make them address it. Upvote this post, copy and paste it. They think that since this isnt steam they can hide from a comment and review bombing but they are wrong.
Did you get banned? do this to! make your own version of this. Unite as a community of gamers who are tired of being tugged around. Even if they delete your posts here there are plenty of youtube channels who report on gaming. Hit the comments, copy and paste this to get their attention. You want bungie to fix your issues, unban you when you were unrightfully banned? you need to rise up and make them fix it. They want your money for the DLC? they want your time? make them sweat for it. Dont settle for a ignored forum post.

Can you guys bring to light something thats been killing me, bungie is actively ignoring a issue causing PCs of all grades to totally crash. They are ignoring the posts talking about it and actively jumping around it with other hot fixes as well as not even mentioning it on the Bungie.Help Twitter page or listing it as a known problem. Not to mention a new wave of unwarranted bans have made its way across the game. Its a complete mess. Its hard to even find the posts im looking for because of how many ban posts are flooding the PC Help section. They straight up dont care about the PC community because they already got their 60$. Once you hit about a hour of game time they wont even refund the game, Im not even off of EDZ and ive apparently made to much progress when I beat the tutorial, and got my light back and thats it.

2 RepliesThank you for your report. We are actively collecting reports of Crashes on PC and forwarding them to appropriate parties for investigation. Additionally, it is recommended that players delete their existing CVARS.xml file as a first troubleshooting step. This file can be found in: \Users\USER_NAME\Appdata\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\ Note that when relaunched, the Destiny 2 application will generate a fresh CVARS.xml file.

And the info there seems to be completly unrelated to 99.9% of all the Buffalo errors, from what I've read on the forums here. I am using battle.net, I own one PC, I have only installed Destiny 2 on this PC. It can happen any time during the game, even during cinematics. I try to roam around mostly, doing stuff like lost sectors and public events. Getting DC all the time in PVP and Strikes is not fair to the other players. Leviathan I can only dream about. The only pattern I've seen is that when I get the first Buffalo error of the day, I tend to get 2-5 almost immediatly after trying to log back in. Then it's back to "it can happen any time". Some days are worse then others. I've spent 100$ on a game I can't enjoy, and I am given no help. I will suffice for "We are aware of the issue BUFFALO and are working to fix it", and that it's caused by something else then you describe in your sticky. I will not buy anything Bungie has their name on in the future and I'm sure I'm far from alone on this, if you don't start to talk to the community and adress the issues. I expect you to respond. I also encourage forum users here to up vote, share, repost and link to my list thread. Reach out to media outlets. We need game journalists to start writing articles and increase social media attention to these issues. We need to do so in order to pressure BUNGIE to acknowledge these issues in a public statement. It appears to be the only way to get BUNGIE to act.

For me I found I had a faulty touchpad driver and reinstalled the latest last night on my laptop. Since then i havent had any issues. Before i was crashing every 5-15 minutes. So fingers are crossed that updating the driver fixed it!

They do need to work with their partners to fix the game but the coding actually comes from Vicarious Visions. Bungie I know its not all you BB, but we need you to at-least make a official announcement like you did with every other issue- Its been 2 weeks and a comment on a forum is not going to cut it anymore. Any other game devs would have been ripped to shreds by now, just look at what happens when you piss off the steam community. BB Please. I believe in you. Use this trending post while you can to get some attention drawn onto your individual problems with the game. 1 ReplyId also like to note a common theme im noticing and its that the vast majority of these crashes are happening on Intel Processors and mostly Nvidia GPUs. Which isnt suprising considering people were getting banned for using the built in capture and frame rate monitor programs that come with your GPU, i wouldnt doubt it for a second if they rushed all the pc coding in that month that we waited for it compared to Console players. Sure feels like they did.

I have seen a number of you posting about your pc crashing. I have been having this issue from day one and have seen bungie replying with "we're looking into this" etc. I understand you're looking into this Bungie but does this mean you're going to get a fix while people are still playing the game? It's going on three weeks now. Three actual weeks, I have tried getting a refund but no luck. Can you PLEASE give us some sort of date/time of when you think this may be fixed? I'm getting sick of checking the f**king forums every day to see you ain't done sh!t. Three weeks.

1 ReplyWhile mine hasn't crashed, I am one of the unlucky many to have been screwed over with screen stutter courtesy of Bungie's recent patch. I built a new PC rig just to play this game (Ryzen 1600, AMD RX580, 16GB DDR4, Windows 10 64) on PC. I have EVERYTHING updated, Windows 10 in Performance Mode, cores unparked, Game Mode enabled for D2, etc, etc, etc... (not my first rodeo with the intricacies of PC gaming) and simply cannot play this game anymore. Random stutters/massive frame rate drops make the game just about impossible to play, even though the game works perfectly fine for other friends. I have absolutely NO problems playing any other games on my PC (Recon Wildlands, Fortnite BR, CoD, etc...). But I will not be surprised to see Bunghole's reply stating that the issue is 'on the user's end'. I give up. I am done with D2 and Bungie. They can go -blam!- themselves!!!

16 RepliesPlease take into account that only 3 of the posts you compiled are from before the weekend. This is Monday morning, between midnight and 4AM in the states. It's not cringy or preachy, it's just plain stupid to vilify people you want to do something in the manner you are. If you think Bungie is the same size as the people behind games such as World of Warcraft or similar sized games, you're mistaken. They can't be as prompt about things because they're not as big and because this is still a new release.

I have not been able to establish any pattern other than I cannot complete the final boss of the raid due to it crashing during damaging phases (Or at another random time). I've accepted I'm not gonna get a refund for a game that's ultimately broken for myself and so many others. A free seasons pass would be nice. P.S. I have extensively stress tested my computer and have determined the problem is not on my end. P.P.S. 3 RepliesI have crashed 6 times and it is random every time! I can play for 30 mins and then crash or I can play for 4 hours and then crash, it is impossible for me to diagnose. GTX1070 i5 6600k Neither are overclocked anymore, I capped my fps as well as lowered to medium settings. With nothing running in the background, it still crashes.

Exact same this...random crashes that force my computer to reboot. Tried all the usual things - set game to administrator, updated all drivers, reset BIOS setting etc. etc. Frustrating is an understatement.

2 RepliesI bought the game and was excited to play it, after installing it I haven't been able to even do the first mission. The game crashes at 5-15 mins of gameplay. I checked if every component was up to date and they were all. I also checked if Windows was also updated and indeed it was. I really don't know what to do, I reinstalled the game, I lowered the graphics... and still the same crash. I am starting to feel desperate, I don't even know if Bungie will fix this. All the issues only happen with this game, the game just freezes and I can't get out of it to the home page, I just have to shut down my PC. Sometimes an error pops up and says "Destiny 2 stopped working, looking for a solution" The hotfix did nothing to me, I just want to play. If by a lot of time this doesn't get fixed I'll ask for a refund even if I don't want to, but this is getting insane. CPU: Intel i5 6400 GPU: AMD RX 480 OS: Windows 10 64 bits RAM: HYPERX 8GB DDR4

I can't even get the game to open on my wife's PC. Crashes before it has a chance to open. I got it to open one time, game ran great so I know its not the PC having the issue.
