could you not do it even smarter and each guardian in the fireteam goto a different lost sector and loot the chest for 3 per guardian meaning each time you go through it would be 9 a person?

No. All must be in the same “instance” i believe. Plus you have to actually interact with the chest anyways.

this method of farming will garner more tokens for those who are able to solo the sectors quickly.. many have not thought about that aspect.

I have hundreds not even farmed. I looked through the weapons last month and decided it wasn’t even worth spending my coins. Cods out though. Woooo ha ha. Destiny died about 3 week ago for me.
