They're not doing it because it's immensely cheaper for them to just use Nolan North for all our dialogue. Imagine, they'd have to hire at least 2 more voice actors just to cover the male/female races. I would have said at least 6, but they can probably do 2 and just digitally alter the voices depending on race. It's purely to save money.

You think this company could afford a couple of voice actors...

  • Here's the thing. Activision absolutely screwed them when it comes to contract negotiations. 4 full games plus expansions in 10 years? No way. They wanted this to be their SciFi CoD title. Bungie would probably love to spend time and money into deepening the experience for us, but they're trapped in a development contract that forces them to crank shit out. They simply don't have the time. Money? Likely. But it's Activision that is forcing them to derail Bungie's development. I remember 10 or so years ago when Bungie announced they were leaving Microsoft, that they would finally be free from under the thumb of corporate publishers, only to see them go to Activision. It was very disappointing. I thought Bungie would go the way of Bethesda, grow from a gaming studio into a massive company. But I digress. I would love a Guardian voice actor or six. I don't need the Guardian to be my avatar into the Destiny universe. This shit isn't Ready Player One.

Why would they accept a contract like that in the first place?! Honestly, they should’ve stayed with Microsoft. Phil Spencer puts gameplay value first over these ass clowns at Activision and their yearly call of duty
