Why tf does tether not kill a guardian on impact!?
I need somebody with credibility to answer why they thought this was a good idea. It’s understandable to only suppress them if they’re in super but a regular guardian should die if they are shot directly with a tether.
There’s a list of other things wrong with hunters but damn at least start with explaining this one to me.

Mobious Quiver 1hk tho and can shoot multiple times -.- trapper is meant to trap alot more enemies and disorient them. litterally y i cant take most hunters seriously. Hunters are elitists, [i]even the gamers that play them[/i]!!! Each path has its own purpose!

Because 1 hit kills abilities are to OP! so they nerf it to make it more noob friendly!

2 RepliesActually, it can if your enemy is low enough. HOWEVER, its main perk is that it heavily disorients players (it jerks my head nearly all the way up and a short blinding effect). That is way more useful than a OHK shot and pray. Makes it more of a trap super.

I backed up because I assumed I would be tethered through it. Then my teammate ran up and so did I and just stood next to the tether and killed his teammate while it sat useless in my barricade. I feel for hunters. I leveled Warlock and Titan ironically because I was primarily a hunter in PvP in D1. Guess I made a good call lol. For some reason, way of the trapper's shadowshot doesn't have enough power to one shot a full health guardian. The other way can one shot but it's abilities are, meh. Hopefully Bungie will buff the damage done by trapper's shadowshot soon.

Because deej only plays on a warlock and only when he is live streaming another way to take our money and as hes the only one who kinda plays this game from bungie with the looks of things anyway they probably dont even notice that the tether doesnt work as it should

The Shadowshot animation needs to work a hell of a lot faster, and do a kill on impact. Even for the Quiver version, which I rarely see actually Tether anyone if it misses. I get the most success out of using it to Trap locations of interest. Unfortunately, the audio queue tips off my direction and distance, so more often than not, it becomes just a super expensive Area Denial tool.

Just use it differently. As a head- on super tether sucks ass and by far the weakest. However, timed well vs a pack running together = multis and team wipes. Takes some getting use to.

Hunters-bouncy lil bitches that need a good slap! But yes-I actually agree a direct hit with a tether should kill. Especially as supers play such little rolls in pvp now (thanks for that) n cus every other super kills with a direct hit.

5 Repliestether, the only super in the game where people tell you to stfu about not being able to oneshot someone, when you instead have to shoot near them, wait for it to connect to them all, then shoot one of them with your gun meanwhile voidlock throws a bomb and does the same thing, but faster, and doesnt use ammo lol
