1.0.6.1 Patch Random 1 second Stutters

Everytime i fight a large group of enemies i get a massive spike of loss frames. Only happened after patch. I'm not sure what causes this but its pretty annoying. I never ran into this problem last patch or even when playing on EU. Pc Specs: i7 4770k 4.0Ghz 16 GIGS of DDR4 Ram GTX 980SC. UPDATE: This is what happens. Its much much worse in pvp. Every 10 to 15 seconds it happens. In PVE its every min or so. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEa_f_ljKiU&feature=youtu.be UPDATE 2: Running into micro stutter and weird low fps while turning the camera. Fps is around 100-120 still.

  • I too am experiencing this issue. 20-30 FPS loss randomly getting me killed in crucible not helping my KD. :( Glad to know it's not my hardware. Reseated and cleaned everything today... It honestly amazes me, how they keep making the PC version worse and worse with every update...at it's current state the game is basically unplayable with the constant stuttering every 10 or so seconds. 4790K GTX980 16Gigs Win10 1709 GPUDriver 388.00

    • My build uses Gtx 1080ti w/ 6700k. Before patch had 107-120 fps now have 70s with dips as low as 64, additionally have stutters. In game setting have v-sync off and max settings. The frame drops are worse in large areas in terms of render distance such as in the edz but overall performance has dropped across the board except for when in tight spaces and looking at walls.

Issue: I am experiencing framerate spikes and small freezes, micro stutter when moving the mouse and slightly lower fps in general. Game was perfect before the update. Seems to happen no matter what I am doing in the game. EDIT: Orbit is fine. • I'm also getting some weird small freezes after the patch. It doesn't seem correlated with enemy or player density, it just seems random. It occurs every couple of minutes and is a 1-2 second hangup. • Yeah, I'm getting this a fair bit too. It got ESPECIALLY bad at the end of that quest with the music boxes on Io, when you have to hold off all the Vex. The stuttering got REALLY bad there, possibly tied to the amount of enemies or the amount of effects going on. i5-4690k GTX 970 (Driver version 388.13) 16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600Mhz W10 x64 Build 15063.674 1080p @ 60Hz Installed on 7200RPM HDD

          • First they took trials away on Xbox for 2 weeks and now the day before trials starts up on PC they introduce a hotfix that causes stuttering when the game was running beautifully before. This is such a bummer, I hope they can fix this quickly without introducing more issues.

Yes I'm having the same problem. In PVP after hotfix every gunfight I get a massive drop in frames. Lol... seems to happen when my opponent and I get to around 15% health. Makes the killing shot a bit more difficult. Wired or wifi didn't change results. Long range battles seemed to be less affected.....
