Everytime i fight a large group of enemies i get a massive spike of loss frames. Only happened after patch. I'm not sure what causes this but its pretty annoying. I never ran into this problem last patch or even when playing on EU.
Pc Specs: i7 4770k 4.0Ghz 16 GIGS of DDR4 Ram GTX 980SC.
UPDATE:
This is what happens. Its much much worse in pvp. Every 10 to 15 seconds it happens. In PVE its every min or so.

UPDATE 2:
Running into micro stutter and weird low fps while turning the camera. Fps is around 100-120 still.
-
also having random 1 second sutters here after todays patch. i5 3570k, 8gb ram and a msi gtx 1070 gaming z.
-
this is incredibly game ruining. go into crucible, drop a rift as a warlock, watch dropped frames until you're dead. not a single stutter before the "performance patch", I got around 140 fps in the world/crucible on highest settings, and around 70 in social spaces. now I get completely dropped frames on any warlock rift, any arc effects. I even attempted setting the game to lowest in crucible so I could stop being killed because of it, still happens.
-
The issue is warlock rifts. Tested many times. Test it yourselves.
-
Same, but with me i am getting mini freezes for a split second every 40-50 secs . It has nothing to do with my graphical settings, hardware , software or network . A lot of people are having the same problem.

Any update to this?

I'm having the same micro stutter issue Ever since the most recent patch Before patch it ran butter smooth 100+ Fps GPU: Asus 1080 ti CPU: 5820k Driver 388.13 RAM: 16g DDR4 Windows 10 Windows is up to date and so is drivers. This is the patch and no way around that. Roll back please. Thank You :-(

FIX UR GAME ALREADY! WE CANT PLAY THIS!

I get +100 fps without problem but game stops for split second when these things happen. Other games i have no issues like Battlefield 1. My friend with the AMD FX 8350 cpu has no issues and didnt get affected after the patch/hotfix. This happened to me after the hotfix.
-
same Problem here, just saying good spec aswell
-
Same issue for me, noticed hitching/stuttering during chaotic public events and only after the patch was installed. CPU: i7-5820k GPU: GTX 1080 ti RAM: 16 GB ddr4 GPU Driver Version: GeForce GTX 388.00 Operating System: Windows 10 x64 latest updates
-
Why would you not just roll back the hotfix patch that caused this.... Most people would much rather the game be playable than have their clan roster load
-
At least update us on the issue...
-
Any update on this? I went from playing 8 hours a night, to none.. because the stuttering at non-opportune times is literally getting me killed. Was buttery smooth prior..

1# i still can't play in full screen. 2# game freezes every 10 seconds I play on a Asus rog laptop with gtx870m This sucks so much.

Have the same problem, before the patch smooth +100 fps after the patch all is shit stutters all the time, pvp , raid, bungie do you even know what are you doing with your game ?? you fix one thing and -blam!- up another one , just roll back the patch and -blam!- the clan lobby, there's no point in fixing that since THERE IS NO CLAN CHAT IN THE GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even mobile game's have clan chat and destiny 2 a AAA game don;t have this "extra rare" thing. Maybe we should buya a "clan chat" DLC in the future.
-
Got same FPS issues and only keeps getting worse. Raiding and pvp is bulls*** with this going on. I thought it's my Nvidia and I went through all settings and even restored system to before Nvidia latest updates, but this explains it all. Should've known it's bungie being bungie again.
-
When we can play this game properly?.. This is so frustrating!.. Please do something Bungie...
-
This is very unfortunate a problem, as it actually puts me off playing it. Either roll back the patch or at least give us a clue when it'll be fixed, as in if you've found the problem. It really is a BIG problem, and I suspect it effects everyone-- only most people simply put up with it and don't report. This is no contradiction as many people put up with a damaged experience without voicing it.
-
This is an extremely frustrating bug to be experiencing - absolutely ruining the game experience. It is throwing my aim off every time it happens. And it happens a LOT. A FPS where you can't shoot properly? It's not a FPS. It's actively making me log in a lot less than I would have. Please fix this ASAP. Or roll back the patch.

Getting these stutters as well, i7 4790k, 980ti, game on SSD etc. Game was fine last week, finally get time to play and its just awful.
