And Cracktivision too. They’re in on this.

1 ReplyJesus Christ, the retardation in this thread is REAL.
Bungie didn't take your money, you gave it to them!
OP did not use the word 'steal'; they used the word 'take'. If I GIVE you a dollar, you TAKE the dollar. Using semantics as your whole argument is nothing new around this forum, but some of you people are pushing Stupid to a brand new level. Think before you type.

14 RepliesI'm down voting this post. Bungie has earned everyone of my dollars. Always worth the money. Yep, Destiny "fanboy" spreading some love dust in this salty community.
-
100€ for Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe edition and this will be the last time i buy something from Bungie.
-
Let's see, for me there was $30 vanilla (bought it late) $35 expansion pass $40 taken king $45 legendary edition upgrade to next gen $30 rise of iron $100 destiny 2 + expansion (I hate my life choices) So my emblem would be about $280
-
Lol awesome idea... I now wait till collectors edition come out so you get DLC, DLC, Y2 major update for <$40

Why it's basic maths, you have the base game plus the DLCs it's not that hard unless your are one of the idiots buying silver when you basically get most of the EV stuff from Bright Engrams

Edited by JifTheJester: 11/2/2017 6:29:18 PM$200 over 3 years, oh god the horror!! A couple days pay for hours and hours of entertainment lol
-
Edited by ITzTricky_x: 11/2/2017 3:09:44 AMAfter nearly agreeing realises If I do the math, the amount of hours I've already got out of Destiny 2 is actually incredibly good value compared to other games I've bought , finished and put back on the shelf.

I’m like 15 and saved up 100 dollars for the collectors edition with the season pass. Do I regret it? Not at all. I played this game nonstop for so long, I don’t get to complain about lack of content when I no lifed this game for 2 weeks
-
This is probably the least amount of money I spent on a video game lol. It’s okay tho go and spend your $60 every single year on a shit call of duty that you play for 80 hours. Or sports games or whatever you think is a big amount of money.

Where is the damn down vote...

10 RepliesI don’t think you purchasing a game counts as bungie taking your money. Last time a checked bungie hasn’t performed some satanic ritual to force people all over the world to buy their game

Edited by Qeylis: 11/2/2017 3:45:33 PMHere it is. They had to make it just a tiny bit bigger than a regular banner to fit the extra information. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DMgtlI_WsAgjmwH?format=jpg Edit: Sorry, I thought you meant how much stuff they took from us. Not money.

At the end of Destiny 2, the emblem can be a picture of a gamer throwing his money at the screen where Luke Smith is giving an interview.
-
I would say at least 200$ but in retrospect I’ve put well over 200 hours into both games so seems pretty far for the amount of entertainment

I have my bank statements to laugh back at me.

2 RepliesBungie has taken nothing you made the choice. Personally even though I have spent quite a bit at under a dollar and hour if I walked away from the game it would have been worth it. D1 all together for my wife and I, we spent roughly $1000 to play Destiny (new Xbox Ones included). When adjusted for play time that is only 23 cents an hour to play. Again a great value for the entertainment.

1 ReplyWe need a 'throw money at the screen' emote too.

We had 3 emblems in Destiny 1 that you got ONLY from donation to disasters or buying stuff in the store on their website. And D2 has one for the Hurricane relief which I believe was a 15 USD minimum donation for the emblem. So thats about 60 USD right there.
