So PC community settles down and we're back down to 800k PvP online
THAT'S why the trailer was put out yesterday, panic mode activated.
Faction Wars cancelled, another iron banner due with horrendous loot drops, and big games dropping almost weekly, a dlc full of reskins, promised changes that wont happen until dlc2 at the earliest (april or may), things are gonna get a whole lot more pressurised at Activision HQ.
I love this game but man it's fun to see it burn

Yesterday was over 100k higher players. They need to go off a per week to be slightly more accurate. Unique users logged in per week, not everyone plays everyday.

7 RepliesMy clan activity is nonexistent now. Had amazing time when raid dropped with them but now its completely silent. Clan engrams needless to say are nonexistent as well. I dont play as much but it does suck when u want to maybe run a quick nightfall. I joined a clan so that i can do some friendly nightfalls without resorting to third party site or the guided system (which has an incredibly long wait time as well now).

11 RepliesYou don't know what you're talking about. There is absolutely NO WAY they wait until May to implement the "promised changes". The only thing we know is pvp custom games are coming early 2018. That is a major change to the game, so of course it'll take time to implement. I'd bet the rest of the changes come in December and maybe some in November

Destiny 2 could've honestly been a free to play, free download knockoff of Destiny 1, made by some independent developer and maintained entirely on a simple microtransaction system.

They have made the decision to make Destiny a casual game for casual players. Thus they have made the game for it to be played for 100 or so hours, then leave for a few months, and then come back and buy the DLC to play for another 50-100 hours, etc. They dont care how many people play the game between content drops, because they know the hoards will come back nonetheless and throw money at the screen for DLCs. Unfortunately I dont believe the immersiveness and replayability of Destiny 1 will ever return.
