Pvp grenades

Honestly certain grenades need a buff (not pulse) flash and smokes need to actually blind people too. that’s all I see that’s wrong. It would stop people from stacking up with each other and shooting down halls. there’s no reason why I stick someone with a grenade and they don’t die along with there buddy standing right next to them. It would open up better opportunities to get multikills.

  • Axion bolts need a massive buff. Scatter grenades need a buff. Sticky grenades should deal damage according to where it tags a player. 1hk from the nips, up.

      • Even if they aren't an auto kill, how about more damage? I run a Titan and in many cases they're useless.

        • So, you want them to be as powerful as they were in Destiny 1 then. It's okay. You can say you want shorter TTK and more powerful abilities.

          • "But I hate being one-shot by sticky grenades!" - Quite A Few D1 Players With that out of the way, I agree entirely. Personally, I feel like grenades in general, (Barring the infamous Pulse grenade) are incredibly underwhelming, stickies in particular. If it wasn't for the admittedly ridiculously forgiving magnetism that stickies had, they would be a very skillful grenade to use that would actually require accuracy. Now, while I feel that the Pulse grenade needs to be toned down just a tad, the Vortex and Solar grenades need to be brought up to be comparable. Firebolt and Arcbolt grenades could stand to have a slight damage buff. I'm not sure about the others, but as it is, with abilities having such a long cooldown, they need to be worth the time it takes to get them back, and most grenades don't feel worth it.

              the hunter grenades specifically cause holy crap are they horrible in pvp super tiny blast radius and minimal damage is obnoxious void wall is the second most situational ability in the game because it's super easy to dodge and you have to TURN AWAY from the person killing you for it to actually hit which brings me to the number one most situational grenade that has gotten even worse in destiny 2: the tripmine super tiny blast radius (funnel explosion); check very slow activation period; check is only around for less than 10 seconds: check Can be destroyed; check does not one shot anyone standing directly in front of it; check out of all grenades in the game this one NEEDS a buff either bring back the one shot or make it stay either for 3 minutes or permanently because it's a DESTRUCTIBLE TRAP. I think the only decent hunter grenade for pvp is the flux since it's the only radial grenade that has the average radius as the other grenades for titans and warlocks vortex has that as well except the extra radius (that brings it to average) does so little damage with no other effects making it effectively useless unless you can get the drop on someone which is not going to happen

              • They just need to decrease the cool down time and increase the ttk of primaries. Grenades keep people from holding hands and a lower ttk would make the solo flank viable again. If abilities are going to be weak they may as well let us have them atleast. That would get rid of some of the blandness of PvP... It's so ridiculously stale.
