Cool thread. Now I know when to expect the stuff I want to unlock; as opposed to me rushing to the armory to see if any new effects unlocked everytime my rank goes up, and feeling downhearted when there's nothing new there.

Just wondering. If you cant buy some of the helmets because you havent played any of the other halos can you still unlock the haunted helmet by buying all the helmets that are unlocked through reach?

I calculated all the credits required for all of the stuff posted as of September 20, 2010 and the grand total for helmets, chests, etc. costs just over 8,100,000 cR.

This was my experience with the flaming helmet DLC code. I redeemed the code for my gamertag. My wife created her spartan and joined me to play through the campaign and she was able to equip the flaming helmet as well with her own gamertag. We are on the same 360, so as long as your accounts are on the same box, it looks like anyone can equip the helmet and elite armor. Now, it's possible it only worked because we were both signed in... but my experience with the majority of DLC I've downloaded has worked for both of us even without me being signed in (I redeem all codes on my account). Hopefully this works out for other people.

My only thing is... you can buy the codes on ebay, but there going for like 80-100 bucks.
