So i usually play in fullscreen no problem there, but i want to play in borderless fullscreen for streaming but for some reason its just choppy/stutters non stop, it feels like there is a slight input delay compared to fullscreen which is crisp and feels like a raw mouse input and the framerate doesnt really change much in which mode i choose but in borderless fullscreen you can tell there is a stutter yet, the ingame fps counter and nvidias doesnt seem to go down at all when it happens. Anyone have any clue how to fix this or is anyone else having this problem?
edit1: i can now confirm that roll back to driver version 387.92 has fixed this issue for me and borderless fullscreen is now crisp just like normal fullscreen. that seemed to be the issue. Hope this helps anyone lookling for a soulution

5 RepliesHi there, have you recently updated your nvidia drivers? I normally play all games in borderless as it makes using duel monitors a lot easier, I've never had issues with borderless until I updated my nvidia drivers on the 24th to the destiny 2 "game ready" drivers. Now all games are stuttering in borderless but run fine in full screen. So it seems it COULD be an issue with the latest drivers. If you really want to use borderless try rolling back to the previous version of nvidia drivers and see if that solves the stuttering. Hope this helps!
