PC Version: Regular Screen Freeze/Crash after ~30mins
No issues with Destiny 2 until it started crashing regularly.
As far as I can tell, all game functions work. Graphics look good. No tearing or other framerate issues.
However after about 25-45mins of gameplay the screen freezes and the game crashes to desktop.
The error is the Generic "This program has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution." Then it closes.
The very first crash gave an error code, and suggested using "Scan and Repair". I scanned and repaired but nothing was found. Since then it simply freezes with no error and crashes out.
It occurs in combat, not in combat, with enemies around, when I am alone, when firing, when moving, when not moving, when not firing. In every zone and area I've been in so far.
The only consistent factor is that it never occurs in the first 20mins of gameplay. (I know this because it's just long enough that you're almost at the end of an adventure or area... grrr)
