I have a large amount of screen tearing and stuttering in destiny 2. I even have a gsync monitor and it only helps a little bit. With full screen the game is beyond unplayable and with windowed full screen it becomes more playable but still stutters and tears. Even when running above 120 FPS the game feels like its running under 60. I've tried updating window, I've tried uninstalling my GPU drives with DDU and reinstalling them, I've tried changing dozens of settings in my nvidia control panel and I've made sure my monitor is running at 144hz in windows and Nvidia settings. I've completely run out of options trying to fix this besides reinstalling windows.
Any help solving this would be massively appreciated.
EDIT: After closing EVGA precision XOC I saw my stuttering go down a bit but now after playing the game for a few minutes with that program closed stuttering starts happening again not as bad but still not close to accetable.

Hi Guys.. i've just started playing, im in the beggining, no clan no nothing and had the same issue. It seems that the problems is the g-sync technology. Try run as "windowed mode", it worked here..

1 ReplyEdited by amplitudelol: 11/3/2017 4:53:13 PMSame thing, i didnt have this problem. Since patch the game starts stuttering after 30-40 mins. The more I play after it starts the worse it gets. PC, Europe. Also im playing on a laptop usually with a monitor attached to it. and still cant have full screen, only borderless windowed, maybe thats part of the problem but like i said this is only since this week's patch.

1 ReplyI'm in an American clan. When playing on the American server, I get this micro-stuttering issue. Bad. When playing on the European server, I don't get this issue at all. Even after hours of play.

2 RepliesThere are stuttering issues for people that are in clans, suppsoedly due to not working clan rooster. I read that leaving clan can solve this until Bungie solves this permanently. Additionally if you are on W10, there are issues with Microsoft game bar and game mode causing input lag.

I have the same problem , 4930 K OC , GTC 1080 TI , 16 GB RAM. I have tried everything , and the issue is definitely with the game , not my pc . I can play all the latest games at max settings with 0 frame or tearing issues - Shadow of War , The Evil Within 2 , Wolfenstein , Assassin Creed Origins , etc. Tried different graphic settings and nvidia control panel settings , nothing helps. Tried different drivers , same thing.

Edited by Swagnaros: 10/31/2017 11:23:10 PMHaving the same problems here. Definitely an issue with the game, as running other FPS shooters are smooth. Hoping we get a fix soon. [edit] I tried leaving clan as others have suggested, and it fixed my problem after a game reset. Hopefully Bungie addresses this issue soon and fast. Not being able to be social in the game(chat) is a real problem, and now being in a clan all together causes gameplay issues....
