As there appears to be no support ticketing system and the recommendation is that issues be posted on the #PCSupport forums. Here are my specs and issue. If others would like to use this to list theirs as well, then please go ahead. Probably best of this topic is only filled with the below template, so that it is clear to Bungie support how many issues really exist across all PC specifications.

Destination/Activity: Any area upon loading into game for the first time
Description: When I spawn into the game for the first time after the cinematics, I run a few meters and the game crashes the whole PC. Screen goes black, audio stutters (as if at high speed) and then the PC remains unresponsive. The screen acts as if the PC has shut down, no audio, no mouse cursor, but the machine is still running. Game is currently completely unplayable for me...
The event viewer log only shows that an unexpected shutdown occurred, so I do not know what the error is.
The thing is, the game worked absolutely fine during Open Beta - therefore I thought the release would also work without issues...

2 Replies*Update Bump 6*: Managed to play all weekend. It would appear that downclocking my GPU to 90% power and -105 Mhz on Core and Memory, plus having Avira Game Booster running has solved the crashing issues. The Game Booster simply switches off all non-essential background programs, and then I only run Destiny 2. My guess is that without these changes something must be conflicting on my system with Destiny 2 causing it overload and crash the display drivers and reboot the PC. Without an expert from Bungie it's hard to determine what the actual root cause is. But at least I'm enjoying the game finally :)

I had installed a Bluetooth software which in turn it installed a network Bluetooth connection so I think the game was trying to access the net from that Bluetooth network once I uninstalled it the game now starts fine so the game doesn't freeze at startup anymore.

Edited by Bolkorex: 10/31/2017 11:52:22 AM*Update Bump 5*: Managed to play the game again. Now I'm not sure if it's the hotfix or repeating all of the steps I had taken before. But it is working for me again. Shall endeavor to reset my GPU settings again, so that I'm not underclocking anymore, and see if the game remains stable then. *EDIT* Hotfix didn't do anything as far as I can see. Managed to play for 2hours and then crashed again...PC rebooted itself this time. Now doing a scandisk and repairing errors...

*Update Bump 4*: Decided to update the drivers to 388.13. The issue has now returned, few seconds into spawning anywhere the screen goes black, audio persists briefly and then I need to hard reboot the PC again... Hopefully the Hotfix today will fix it completely as it's now been almost a week since the launch of this...

1 Reply*Update Bump 3*: Downclocked my GPU by -105Mhz for Core & Memory & lowered the power limit to 92% (down from 100%). I've also used the (free) Avira Game Boost application that closes down all erroneous background programs and functions. So far I managed to play for a solid 3 hours without crashing. Quit of my own accord after that session. Am happy that it works now, but it is quite a lot of effort for something that worked as a beta without all of this extra stuff being required.

I've been having similar issues too (Intel not AMD). Logged my progress so far at https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/236698665?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1

*Update Bump 2*: Downclocked my GPU by -130Mhz and set the fan to increase to 70% if the temp goes higher than 60c. I managed to get a bit further in the EDZ, till about the wall blocking the main (I guess). But then the screen went to black, then brown, audio died again and I had to reboot the PC again...

*Update Bump*: Used http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,1.html And followed the advice from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ulQYC_HP9s Managed to get Destiny 2 to work, got past the spawn point all the way to the EDZ. Unfortunately, as soon as my character landed in the EDZ the game crashed to black again and I needed to reboot my PC. So progress, but still broken... Will continue my search for solutions as there doesn't seem to be sight of an official one.
