UPDATE: The ban has been lifted! I'm back in my account! The funny part is I just used up my two off days from work, and the Destiny 2 party I drove out of town for is over. But at least I got my account back. Thank you for unbanning me.

Guys, please upvote this. Something is seriously wrong. I really don't want to lose the account tied to my BETA participation and pre-order bonuses. (Update: Thank you all for the support :)
https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/46426 – This is freaking me out. If this is true, far less people were banned than originally thought. I was essentially hand chosen to receive a legitimate ban. One of 400 people. What in the actual heck did I do?? PLEASE tell me. I was NOT using ANY software to get an unfair advantage. I was not hacking. I was not taking advantage of ANY exploit. For the past 12 hours I have been playing on a 2nd "throw-away" account (to get the hang of the game and play some PvP). I have yet to be banned on this 2nd account. The only two things I changed are the GeForce Experience FPS counter, and I completely disabled Overwolf. Why was my first account banned and not this one?

I will try and lay out absolutely everything I can possibly think of to get this figured out. Something is wrong. Almost everything stayed the same since the BETA. But this time I'm banned after a few hours.
1. I freshly reformatted my PC for Destiny 2
2. I have GeForce Experience installed with the latest drivers
3. I used GeForce Experience FPS counter overlay
4. Overwolf was running in the background, but it does not work with D2
5. Discord was running, but not the overlay
6. F.lux was running, a program used to remove blue light at night
7. Avast Internet Security and Firewall
8. Bound 3 keys to the Logitech G Keys
9. NZXT CAM Software (Monitors my CPU and GPU, and allows me to configure the PC lighting)
10. I don't this this matters, but my in-game sensitivity settings are different than most. I run 10 overall sensitivity, and .50 ADS sens. My mouse is set to 1400dpi. I can do a 180 VERY quickly, and the .50 give better ADS precision.
11. I'm playing on a different IP address since the BETA. I drove out of town for a Destiny 2 party at a friend's. I noticed all my settings carried over from the beta. Does the system think I'm sharing my account or something?
12. Installed the huge "fall creator update" for Windows 10
13. I have ReShade installed for PUBG. But it's not active for Destiny 2.
14. Don't think this matters, but I have Origin installed too, and often have problems with Origin overlay. It was disabled and turned off.
15. ASUS GPU Tweak was used to overclock the 1080ti. My game froze a few times possibly because my card got too hot.
If I can think of anything else I'll add it to the list.

Here are the complete specs for my PC
Ryzen 1700 overclocked to 4GHz
ASUS Crosshair VI Hero motherboard
GTX 1080ti STRIX (overclocked with GPU Tweak and possibly overheating causing crashes)
32GB TridentZ RGB RAM @ 2800MHz
512GB Samsung 960pro m.2 (game installed here)
512GB Samsung 850pro
Dual 1440p Monitors
Logitech g910
Logitech g900
Sennheiser GSX 1200

Please, what is happening? I will give you my cell number. Why was I one of 400 to receive a hand-chosen ban? I don't know what else I can say or do to prove I was not hacking, taking advantage of an exploit, or any unfair advantage at all.
Something is seriously wrong. I was incorrectly banned.

And thanks to you being unbanned, we see that the bullcrap of "Bans being handpicked" was a lie. As I've said before, Bungie loves and WIL lie to their playerbase.
