Connecting forever, can't connect to destiny 2 ( I dont get any error codes!)

I can not connect to Destiny 2 game. It spins all the time '' connecting '' but nothing happens ... While I wait 20 minutes, it will not stop. So I can not get in the game. I re-installed the game, reseted modem, scan and repair, windows updates are in order, your graphics card drivers are updated, I launched the game as an administrator, nothing works. I live in Finland. All other online games work, even all Blizzard games Help :( I have an Intel i7 7700K processor

  • Let's bump this up. Having the same issue after taking a break from the game and returning after Warmind dlc. Had no issues before with connecting. Now it takes forever to connect. Anyone found a permanent solution?

I contacted Elisa and got a quick reply with a working fix for the problem. Kiitokset Elisan Asiakaspalvelulle.

    • Same, Elisa Finland. Sometimes the connecting takes 1 second but 99% of time it takes 8 min.

    • This worked for me. Now connects under second Go to the search Bar and search %appdata% Then select Bungie > DestinyPC > prefs Delete the two items in that folder.

      • I have this exact same issue (PC version of the game, if it matters in this case), I am also from Finland. Quick googling seems to suggest this might have something to do with IPv4 vs IPv6. Any of you other Finns with this issue using Elisa as your ISP?

        • Have you tried disabling all other network adapters besides the one you are using eg if you are using wired disable your WiFi adapter or vice versa this has been proven to solve this issue
