How to get exotic sword quest?
I’m playing D1 on the 360, and I can’t figure out how to reacquire the exotic sword quest line. Can anyone help?
PS:
I already have the bolt caster, but I want the fire exotic sword now.

Seeing as no one told you this, here it goes: After upgrading the legendary sword to 290+ Light Level, you have to actually buy every perk on the sword. After buying them, Shaxx will give you the quest.

The information your getting is correct, buy the sword from Shaxx combined it to 280 or 290 then you should receive the quest to get the exotic version. The solar one is one of the easier ones to get as its the last Knight to come out so you can just waste the other two. Get the boss to minimal health as well as the solar hive Knight then kill them both with in a few seconds of each other. Not sure if you have to kill them with the desired sword but I believe you have to have it at least equipped.I hope this helps.

Been a while, but I believe you have to purchase the legendary version, and then infuse it to 280+ (that number could be wrong).
