I have seen multiple times that I am unable to do the raid because of my lake of a microphone. I am not going to spend my money on something expensive to do just one thing. so I made this poll to see which one the community prefers. ( I know how to do the raid encounters)
Thank you guys who recommend the non expensive mics defiantly helps :)

Prestige is not capable if you don't have a mic

You’re fine for normal mode

If you have a mic and don’t know I can make sure you get it when I teach you. If you don’t have one I can’t know when it’s your cue to interact woth someone else. Plus, you can use a mic for like anything that isnt talking in person

$10 and you can grab earbuds with a mic in them.

I like using the MIC whenever one or more of my friends are going to be playing. Doesn't need to be just raids, or even just Nightfalls. Just fun to socialize while playing.

You don’t need an expensive mic. You can get earphones with a mic at the Walmart or drugstore for <$10 that’ll work just fine. I’ve raided without a mic but that was only with friends that I regularly raid with so we all know what to do and who’s doing what. Unless you have a regular team, there’s no way for people to know you actually know the encounters. Also, LFG teams are already way less coordinated so having to compensate for someone they can’t hear makes that even worse. If you choose to raid without a mic then don’t complain that no one will let you raid with them. All you’re doing is making it harder for the rest of the team and it’s not their responsibility to compensate for that.

Edited by IMADAJ: 10/25/2017 10:38:03 PMI would rather play with someone who has a mic and doesn't know the raid. With a mic I can teach. Now I'm playing with someone who knows the mechanics and also had a mic. I can also communicant in case we have to switch things up on the fly if someone dies, has to leave their spot for a revive, can't make it to their spot in time, or needs help with adds for example. Edit
I am not going to spend my money on something expensive to do just one thing.
As a gamer I enjoy learning and mastering all the different rolls in the game. It keeps the game fresh and also let's me meld better in pick up groups.

There's literally shit you can not do without saying something. In Gauntlet, you can not be a runner. You have to be able to call out to the platformers which slots need to be shot. This could be dealt with by being a platformer... on Normal only! In Pleasure Gardens, you could not be a Prism Guide. You just wouldn't be able to call anything out. During the entire raid, if you needed help, you would never be able to call for help. You would Stonewall a steam from even being able to continue at the Gauntlet on Prestige. In the Throne, you can not be in the Shadow Realm. Throne team would only get two call outs, and have to guess on yours! On Prestige, you wouldn't be allowed to kill the Councilor in the Throne room either! You would only be allowed to be an add clearer.

You can get a set of headphones with a built in mic for $15 dollars at any big box store. Normally I wouldn't care, but this raid can be pretty communication heavy. Heck your console probably came with a pair.
