HDR too bright in menus?
Hello! So looking for some minor help.
I have HDR enabled in game, and while actually playing it looks amazing (maybe a bit TOO much contrast), the pause/equip menu is very bright and washed out. I can try changing the brightness setting, but it does nothing to fix it to be honest.
It's playable in the menus, just a pain right now. Otherwise the HDR looks so good!
Video card: GTX 970 (running in RGB full, tried 4.4.4. As well)
TV: Samsung JU7100 55"
Right now I'm playing at 1080p at highest settings. I saw a bit about playing at native resolution, it didn't seem to fix it trying in 4k, but I didn't restart the game in 4k to test it (the 60FPS lock is worth 1080p to me).
I've played with all the other settings on my TV, to no avail. The game itself looks stunning in HDR though!

3 RepliesEdited by Bangtail: 10/25/2017 9:51:07 AMSame, the menus are overbright. Even within the game, the HDR is over saturated and contrast heavy imho. I fixed it by turning off the game's HDR setting and forcing HDR10 through my TV. Sony XBR 49X900E
