So I'm sitting here ready to play destiny 2 on lauch on my PC, but less than 5 minuttes into the game I find the first technical issue with the game :/ the borderless windowed mode isn't working properly. It doesn't fit on my screen! The screen is dragged down to the left, so there's a little gap on the top and right side of my screen... I can see some others had it when they played beta, but shouldn't this problem have been fixed once the game lauched? Can anyone help here? :)

i just found another way to fix it if you have multiple monitors. right click on the desktop and click on "Display settings." then set change one monitor so that it is positioned above the main monitor. you can then change the Destiny 2 to windowed fullscreen then change you monitor layout back to normal.

6 RepliesAnd this issue is alive till this day :D ...cvars.xml says: <cvar name="window_position_x" value="-63" /> <cvar name="window_position_y" value="-53" /> ...this should be x0 and y0 but game automatically for some reason changes this to random xy number. File location: AppData\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\

and win 10 starts resinstalling the update yet again...

1 Replyfullscreen mode also broken when you install win 10 1803 feature update. it also broke dynasty warriors 9 in any mode except windowed. ALSO 1803 ignore the 'dont install drivers through windows update' setting and keeps overwriting the custom intel integrated display driver for my gaming laptop with a generic current version which breaks battlefront ii by fighting with the nvidia for control of the game. i just reverted to previous win 10. best to do that early if 1803 is the problem or it might not work and ms deletes windows.old after 10 days. still redownloading destiny 2 to see what damage if any i still have

9 RepliesSo after making a post to Microsoft about this because I didn't think Bungie would do anything, I finally found a solution to the problem. I started with this: https://i.gyazo.com/34558e77cb076c13c97d38cbf94ed660.jpg Press Windows key + Up arrow to move the whole picture to the top of the screen. So then I was stuck with this: https://i.gyazo.com/c4002419fcab0240bdf016d9d9ce4b8f.jpg To fix the taskbar situation, right-click on your taskbar, go to taskbar settings, and toggle 'Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode' on and then off. And you may need to restart Destiny. This was the only solution that seemed to work for me, but now it works flawlessly in borderless windowed at 1920x1080. Hope this helps, R2.

2 RepliesEdited by Ej: 11/6/2017 12:56:08 AMi have the same issue with destiny 2.. this is what bordless looks like: https://prnt.sc/h3iwg8 and this is what windowed looks like with some/lots of pixels missing at the bottom: http://prntscr.com/h3ix8m I would love to have the option to play windowed maximized exactly as WoW so only the window's board at the bottom can be seen apart of the game. Windowed fullscreen is the only choise at the moment but: 1. When you alt tab the sound keeps playing 2. The game keeps rendering at full fps which drain your cpu power 3. Generally the game can't be minimized

4 RepliesJust use windowed fullscreen. Basically the same, with no issues.
