Grafics issue wrong VRAM usage.
Hi,
I have a problem with Destiny 2.
My specs are:
AlienWare 17 + amplifier
Windows 8.1
64 bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4980HQ CPU @2.8GHz
16 gig RAM
Geforce GTX 980M without amplifier
Geforce GTX970 with amplifier
So i'm running it with the amplifier on a GTX 970 4 gigs, it worked perfectly on beta and still does wiht alot of recent games on high/highest grafics.
Yet for some reason suddenly even low on Destiny 2 isn't possible since when i go to grafic settigns ingame its saying that i only have a 160 MB VRAM usage limit while i should have around 4 gigs.
I'm not running anything besides Destiny 2 on it so i don't know the reason its doing this yet it seems only with Destiny 2 since even Witcher 3 and World of Warcraft i can still use on max grafics no problem.
All drivers and windows are updated and no background things are running that i don't need.
The Card isn't dead either.
Please help me out with my issues.

7 RepliesI'm pretty sure that your card has to be dedicated to the system NOT run on an external amplifier in Destiny 2. Meaning that the Alienware Amplifier would not function properly. They would have to code very specific information in for graphics amplifiers for a very VERY small portion of the gaming population who use them, which honestly would be non-profitable for them in the end. This may get fixed but likely not.
