It's not just AMD users. I have an i5-6600K and am crashing 5 minutes into the game.

you probably have different issue i5 does have ssse3 instruction. update all the game related drivers and softwares?

Updated graphics drivers, windows update ect.. I ran the game fine in BETA.

goto start, search for event viewer, open the windows logs on the left, click application, look for errors pertaining to destiny2.exe. this may give you some idea on why.
