Just realised ODST also mentioned Remember Reach
I know it's cOLD but just thought i would mention it
Edit: The other Remember Reach I meant was the site, exactly the same phrase

This thread is COMPLETELY pointless and a waste of space. That's not worth mentioning at all. The game takes place on Earth after Reach is glassed so it's not surprising there are references. Also, anyone who played ODST knows this.

They've been mentioning Reach in all of the Halo games. It's no surprise. It's there because the covenant were glassing Earth just like they did to reach. That's why it says "Remember Reach." It's not an easter egg/good find at all. [Edited on 08.17.2010 6:41 PM PDT]

Also, Remember Reach is kind of like how the "Remember The Alamo" was the motto/battle cry of the Texans during their fight for independence. Every defender of the Alamo except for a woman and a messenger was killed, she was spared by the Mexicans to spread the message of the defeat to the Texan leaders, and the messenger sneaked through the lines to warn others (like the PoA did with Reach). Just a little parallel I thought of.

Yeah and also during the end of the game on the highway mission when the covenant start glassing the city buck says its like reach all over again.

ODST mentioned Reach multiple times. Especially in the final level.
