Keeps crashing

When i start the game, select my character and log in it takes me to a black load screen. The symbol in the corner changes shape once and then it freezes. A window pops up saying the game has stopped working. Currently unable to play the game. [The game ran perfectly fine during beta] Edit: Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T GPU: AMD Radeon HD6900 Ram: 8GB EditEdit: Seems like AMD Phenom CPUs are the problem. Hopefully we'll hear from Bungie soon. If not I am going to try to get a refund. I only bought this game because i was able to run the beta.

Radeon Software Version - 17.1.1 Radeon Software Edition - Crimson ReLive Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series Memory Size - 4096 MB Memory Type - GDDR5 Core Clock - 990 MHz Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit) System Memory - 8 GB CPU Type - AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090 Processor I can make a character and see the intro, but after that the game crash without error in screen, only closed.

  • Refunded, i got beter thing to do then wait for Bungie to start doing something, and Bungie this is PC market not console see you in Destiniy 2 when you go Free to play

      I get striped monitor screen after 10-15 minutes playing ... Sometimes, when i'm lucky i can play 30 minutes without disruption. I reported it yesterday but still no answer. [url]https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/236606623[/url]

          • The same thing, my computer ran D2 perfectly on beta with no issues. Now however after selecting my character it goes to loading screen, then freezes then crashes and says it stopped working.

              Got my refund in ~6 hours through Battle by opening a ticket. They were aware of the situation and refunded without issues. Later, Bungie!

            • Entire PC crashes within 5-30 mins of play of Destiny 2. It is the only game this happens with. Ran smooth during the beta, now it is unplayable. All drivers/OS up to date. Uninstalled and Reinstalled fresh copy of Destiny 2. Tried scan and repair from Blizzard launcher. No frame dips. Runs smooth, until it crashes. Screen will freeze then the entire computer shuts off and reboots. Stress tested gpu, and it's fine. Ran CHKDSK and it was all good as well.                 • Got the same issue with the game. Played the beta, ordered the game and cant play cause of the crashes with my Phenom II 965. created a Post, bungie havent answered for a potential refund yet. The plattform i bought the game was like „trust bungie and wait for potential patches, money will not be refunded“. Im rly done and pissed.

                    Im having this same issue and i have Intel i7 4790k. It just randomly freezes. Sometimes after 10 mins, sometimes after 40. Never froze once during beta. I can play any other game i have perfectly fine. Ive tried everything they recommend and more. I bought this again because i liked it so much on PS4. Its very disappointing.

                    ... Can Bungie PLEASE re-patch this game to work as it did in BETA for thousands of us. This Top Down Conversation of executives using AAA game releases to try and force further PC gamer spending... is outrageous. Patch your game and dont try selling fix patches as DLC either lol... capitalism has gone off the rails man. Friggen 2010 Processor still running great and ran the beta flawlessly. this is a cash grab gimmick being forced on Bungie by some douche-bag people at the top. Now soon I will stop talking like a angry gamer and revert to my day job and gather up a team of lawyers to look into compensation for the giant Wool that was put over thousands of people's Eyes. They Optimized a Beta for a VAST amount of machines, then undid half those optimizations and limited the player base for mutliple reasons, But they all revolve around defrauding the consumer. So this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Tho they feel covered in the Minimum Specs list defending them... What they changed between Beta and Launch can be proved, and it will show bad practice by Bungie. They need to fix this soon or we just make a AMD user supported, social media fueled, public campaign against Bungie.

                      • FYI everyone just refunded my game and was told that you only have a few days to refund the game and that so far there is no exception for this game that the person helping me heard about. If you want to refund the game I would suggest not waiting to much longer or you may not be able to receive a refund.
