Hello, Thank you for your report. We will forward this to the appropriate team for investigation. Below, some players have stated the following troubleshooting steps have resolved their issues: 1. Fully close and relaunch the Blizzard Battle.net Application 2. Inspect any Anti-virus settings to ensure Destiny 2 gameplay is not being blocked We will provide additional information when available.

Yo I have the same problem. Did you get it fixed? Can you tell me soon im trying to get mine fixed but im having 0 luck.

Edited by Ms.Cal.Culated: 10/24/2017 9:48:01 PMHello, Thank you for your report. We have forwarded it to the appropriate team for investigation. Currently, we have no idea what is going on. We thought we were ready to have a PC launch of an MMO style game but clearly, we were ill-prepared. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working hard to correct the issue. --- See Bungie? That's called an update. Even if it provides zero information it still makes us feel better just because we no longer feel like we're screaming into the abyss.

It takes me around 15-20 minutes to connect, without fail. I'm pretty sure it's a problem with my DS-Lite connection. Cause I had similar issues with other games. So, anyone with a similar issue might wanna look into their IPv4 connection and see if they have a true Dual Stack or just a Dual Stack Lite.
-
I was having same issue. I had to add destiny2.exe to my Malware Bytes exclusion list and was able to get past log-in scree.
-
After 8 hours of troubleshooting, I finally managed to fix this issue and sign in to Destiny 2. I have a VPN client installed on my computer, which I use to connect to my University's network from home. I was only able to connect to the Destiny 2 servers after connecting to this VPN. I also tried disabling and removing the VPN, but I was still unable to connect to Destiny 2 servers. I have only been able to sign in to Destiny 2 while I am connected to the VPN.

Joining in with other unlucky souls who get stuck at "signing in"/"can't contact Bungie servers" issues. Hopefully a fix comes soon.
-
Don't worry, you'll probably just end up finding out you were banned with the rest of us. (Hope not) This is probably the worst PC game release in years.
-
Try the solution that worked for me if you play via Wifi https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/236595371?sort=0&page=0

There is a vast amount of people not able to log-in and play, even while someone "right" beside them on a separate desktop can, weird, huh? Well, I am victim to the same thing BUT I did find a band-aid fix that does allow me to play... at the cost of everyone's entertainment in the house other than my own (not good!). So if you are losing your mind listening to the soundtrack loop on the log-in screen, hang in there! It will stop playing around an hour and a half! Kidding... At your own risk (you may be on the receiving end of a remote being thrown at you if your sister is watching Netflix...), remove your hardline from the router you are using and hardline directly into the modem, reboot the modem and your PC and try logging in. This worked for ME and I hope it works for you, if you aren't already banned. Those of you that are having log-in issues, what type of modem and router are you using? This will be good information for BUNGIE to actually use to benefit from and get the issue resolved- instead of whining aimlessly. Modem: NetGear CM100 DOCIS 3.1 Router: LinkSys AC1750 I have ZERO issues with any other game while hardlined from the router. D2 is also allowed via Firewall.

Please try a WLAN connection, perhaps with an usb stick. For me it helps. My pc has LAN cable connection and hanging at sign in. At my Laptop with WLAN I can sign in and play. So on my PC I switched to WLAN too and it worked.

I was able to discover a fix that worked for me. It's something i haven't seen anyone try out yet and doesn't seem to be in any other posts even on Reddit. Hope it helps anyone still having issues. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/236683898?sort=0&page=0

Stuck at "Signing In" for three 20 minute intervals, no changes after restarting client, restarting my computer, and verifying my account with Bungie/Bnet. Great job at dropping the ball on release by this team. Laughable.
-
Got the same problem as well, already tried the american region but with no luck...
-
Well, Blizzard is being slightly more communicative: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/bnet/topic/20759249801#post-10

this game is trash, go get your money back If you can, trust me fam
-
welp, at 3:35PM PDT, it finally connected for me. did nothing. just randomly started working, so maybe they did something on the server side.
-
Ihr seid der größte haufen scheiße bungie ....
-
This fixed the game for me: I had linked my Bungie and Bnet account since beta and I just linked a Xbox Live account to my Bungie account (from a long time ago). After that I was able to log in immediately. I've tried everything posted here, reddit and on other forums without success. It definitely seems like an account linking problem and adding the Xbox Live account corrected something. If you have a PSN or a XBL account try linking them too with your Bungie account.
-
Just got it working by running Battle.net as Administrator. This is terrible security practice, and pretty terrible in general. Microsoft have spoken out against doing this, and it's considered incredibly poor practice... Anyway, not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but I'm in now.
-
Don´t know what happend, but just turn on computer and Destiny 2 passes Signing In issue and I am in. Nothing has changed from my last try 4 hours ago... It seems that once you pass this once, then it works without any problems. Maybe they are repairing accounts manually? Good luck everyone!
-
Tried it now before work and now it works. I get passed the sign in screen and can create a character. Hope they solved the account issue for all of you. And now i did not do anything just launched the game again.

Edited by JackTJackal: 10/25/2017 5:45:02 AMI have had this issue as well but all of a sudden it was just working, and at the same time I can now post on the forums so yay.
-
Turn it off, and then turn it back on again.
-
The american servers were like that earlier today, switching to european worked for me.
-
Same problem yesterday In EU region. I wasn't able to pass the sign-on screen. It work fine today.
