I didn't play in about 2 weeks. No point. Most others agree. So is destiny dead(or very soon to)?
Edit :
We're TRENDING! Hopefully bungie hears from us. I thinks most people are disappointed but only because we want to love the game, which right now SUCKS! . Hopefully things change quick! Gives us content.. Not tower hockey - _-

I own the game on both X1 and PS4. I have at any given time maybe 1 friend who is playing still. In the beginning, it was 10 or more at all times on both systems. Of course, that is just my little bubble, but for me, it gives me less of a reason to log on if my friends don't want to play anymore.

Nope. In a slump, but not yet dead nor likely to die soon with the DLC right around the corner. Not to mention Christmas on the way.

73% of the player base left D1 before leveling a Legendary weapon. #catchphrase

9 RepliesNope let's be honest everyone will grab the DLC as the gaming market is in a content drought. Also we are all masochists.

I’m starting to get to the point where I’m debating on just leaving it until the dlc comes out

I said this in another thread...It's the best selling game of 2017. It's fine. https://www.engadget.com/2017/10/23/destiny-2-is-2017-s-best-selling-game-after-just-one-month/

Edited by Darth Lunchbox: 10/24/2017 1:16:33 PMThis is normal for a game that has been out for over a month, the true test is when the DLC drops. The numbers will never be as high as launch though, no games DLCs ever are.

1 ReplyI'm just taking a loooong break until something else comes up. I've done every end game thing imaginable on all 3 characters......I've wasted my life :'(
-
2 RepliesIt is not, but it losing its playerbase At best, d2 will hover for a few months between 1 million - 1.5 million. Then it will hover around 800k players gg

Still here...

3 RepliesEdited by Valek27: 10/24/2017 12:10:01 PMIt's not dead and won't be for awhile. Sure it may not meet projected expectations but it will still be profitable. But the true numbers when the 3rd dlc hits will tell the future of the game. Because of the season pass included in preorders Bungie has 2 chances to convince players to give them more money. If they don't then when that 3rd dlc is no longer included in the season pass will tell the truth about the playerbase. Personally I regret having preordered. But I'll give them the 2 chances since I've already paid for them. But I'm expecting to be bored with the game working a week of each dlc if there are no major changes.

14 RepliesThe problem is we had several DLC by the time Destiny stopped being supported and most of the player base for Destiny 2 came from that. Obviously were not going to get a game of the scale we left so most people are disappointed that "there's nothing to do" in vanilla D2. Stands to reason. You either need to accept that or move on until next year after 2-3 dlcs have been released.

Dropping quickly that's for sure I don't know what the bottom Will be But if it's twice where d2 Averaged then they did a good job
