There seems to be no point to XUR nowadays!
Everything XUR sells, I already have at a higher level. (Multiple times in fact and stashed in the vault) so, what is the point of XUR. If he’s not going to sell something new, then he may as well retire!

3 RepliesThere is a 'new' Xur that is some kind of janitor at the Tower who takes you 'Raid' tokens. The 'old' Xur is basically just there for nostalgia and to give you another possible minor boost between level 260 and 280. He had a exotic that I was able to 'consume' that gave me a boost once... Oh, and if he has an exotic that you actually want, well you can buy it and then upgrade it to you current level.... Although I have not found a decent item there that I would want to buy and upgrade yet. I had either already gotten the same exotic 2 or 3 time from 'random' drops, or they were of no interest to me.
