Upvote for the truth. Like you, I have not purchased TTK or Destiny 2. I bought the Digital Deluxe version of Destiny 1 only to find my game restricted in the ways you mentioned. I have nothing against DLC and season passes, but I will not be held to ransom to buy the next DLC. Season passes should be priced fairly and contain ALL the DLC imo.

Couldnt jump anymore after the release of ttk (jk but surprised this didnt happen i really am) 5. Could do everything the base game offered but the very next day when ttk comes out i cant do shit. Its kinda funny lol surprised they didnt take my sparrow away wen ttk came out I can only hope it doesnt happen to D2s year one players, and i havent bought absolutely any dlcs or d2. Still havent bought ttk to this day. I will not support shitty business. And i advise everyone who has D2 to wait n see if they do this bs again. I still think you are high, you don’t even make sense. TTK introduced new crucible modes which you could pick...and heroic strikes....and nightfall’s that you could play as soon as you leveled up to 260... This is how expansions work... In total, you didn’t even play the damn game hombre, go home 🏡

It’s the way games work now. You’re free not to partake if you chose for whatever reason. But with the hours you get out of $20 it’s not a bad deal at all. That’s a Pizza and a couple beers in most places. So by comparison based off what you get out of it not a bad deal.

To keep a game of this type fresh and fun for more than a few months, there has to be dlc. And shit cost money I get that... but I don't think anyone should be locked out of base game features and choices for not purchasing a dlc... ever.

The Pay Wall is the only "feature" of Destiny 1 -GUARANTEED- to make a return in D2, OP.
