4 RepliesBungie's policy regarding bans/restrictions: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

2 Repliessomeone prolly reported your account recov. looked up your trials report for your account and saw that the skill level didnt match up to the report, and then reported it.

4 RepliesGranting someone else your account is perfectly fine, but you are still subject to the rules and conditions of any other service. To put it differently? Bungie has already explained it takes a lot for an account ban/suspension. It takes multiple matches of cheating to even get on their radar. Whatever this person did? Got your account to this point. I would advise not paying for any Trials carries and not letting anyone do something with your account unless you really really trust them.

Yeah, account recoveries are bad mmmkay. That streamer then DDOS'd/IP Flooded the players off their connections while using your account. That means you violated your ToS therefore you received your restriction/ban. I am assuming it is a simple restriction, if that is the case, wait it out and LEARN from this mistake. If this is a full on ban, then that person really was a bad boy. And you will never get your account back. This should be a hard lesson to learn, NEVER trust anyone else with your account EVER. You are responsible for whatever they do. Example, if you loan your car to a friend who does not have a license and/or does not have insurance; you are FULLY responsible for whatever they do in your car. Same thing here. Though, I'm sorry, everyone says this same excuse and I don't totally believe you. Either way, enjoy your ban and from all those legitimate Crucible players who TRULY play Crucible: GET BENT.

We divided the amount of people who care by amount of sympathy given and it produced an error.
-
Account recoveries are illegal If you weren't banned for that, then the streamer ddosed/cheated on your acc/played with someone who cheated
-
You had 7 games in a row that the entire team DNF. It does not matter if you, your brother, your mother, your neighbor, the guy at the auto shop, or a streamer is playing. It is the account that cheated and it is the account that is banned. Next time don't be such a dipshit to give other people your account.
-
6 Repliesyour platform should ban you permanently to be fair. granting access to your account to someone else is against both microsoft and sonys terms of service.

Edited by Hells Assailent: 10/24/2017 3:27:01 AM
I let a streamer recover my profile
Account recoveries are against the ToS for both platforms and I'm almost certain within the games ToS as well.

Good job

5 Replies"I swear I didnt cheat or pay to get carried, c'mon guys I promise!!!!" Yeah, yeah you did. The way you are desperate about this ban, coming on to the forums to complain, makes me think you were pretty desperate to get a flawless run. I would like to go flawless too, but all to often I try and get lagged out (thanks to assholes like you paying to get carried by the same try hards to play over and over and over and cheat more often than not. This game is ruined by try hard pay-to-play players and people like you. Think I'll just have a sandwich.

I'd suggest changing your account credentials, too, lest you also end up complaining about 'being hacked' later on in life.

play stupid games, win stupid prizes

My guess is that person who was on your account was tossing opponents out of the match. As far as Bungie knows, it was you who was doing it.
-
So you're innocent, you didnt do anything, it's someone elses fault. You must feel as awful as all the people that were cheated in trials, maybe even worse.
