Everything you mentioned should be on top of QUALITY CONTENT.
More raids
More strikes
More locations
I was sick of the strike list after day 3. Gear and all that will help, but if you're doing the same thing over and over in the same locations, it's all meh.
It will never happen because the content we get is already set in stone at this point. Activision won't allow them to make this game what it SHOULD be.

Destiny 2 had the content , just not the playability! No one can say that the content Destiny 2 came out with isn’t worth 60$ , because it is BUT it was badly organized making it seem like you could rush through the game itself (all content included) in less than a month ! That’s what Bungie got wrong by trying to make Destiny 2 more casual , I’ll say it right here , Destiny 2 has 3 times more content then Vanilla Destiny did but is lacking the playability of said content !

It really doesn't have much more than vanilla destiny. Launched with the same amount of strikes. (maybe less?) 1 raid, same Same amount of locations. Public events, which we had in vanilla D1 as well. So really what is there over vanilla D1? Caydes treasure?

A way better and more character filled story, 3 more subclasses, bigger and prettier locations with more activities to enjoy ( from adventures to lost sectors ), enemies have an actual background story and reason to do what they’re doing, on destiny vanilla there’s wasn’t even quests , nor exotic quests , the vault had a total of 45 slots , for 15 weapons , 15 armor pieces and 15 general , there’s was no pvp end game , there was no “smart loot system” , meaning loot would drop below your squired Gear , you could ONLY get to max light by playing the raid , should I go on or is it enough ?

Vault space? Lol Exotic quests? Ok kind of...but none take more than an hour or 2. Prettier planets? Smfh Smart loot system? Lol, the loot system in D2 is horrendous at best. Also, smart loot my ass. My first 9 exotic drops were merciless. Nothing else. I counted lol. Shit even the story wasn't much of an improvement. Didn't even want to run it twice, let alone 3x.

If you think loot is horrendous on Destiny 2 I can 100 % assume you’re not a day one Destiny player because if you were you’d know how good this one is compared to vanillas

Edited by TaCTiCaL32: 10/23/2017 1:28:26 AMD1 alpha buddy. 😉 And no, I don't think handouts are fun at all. I'd rather grind some content for what I need or want. At least there is some incentive. This participation trophy garbage is terrible and makes replayability null and void. It's one of the biggest problems in the game to date. Edit: I played 96 hours total. I'm missing 2 exotics, one of which I could have purchased from xur recently. *yawns*

Edited by WishfullOne: 10/23/2017 1:32:18 AMI didn’t say I was okay with it , only said if this is horrendous then Destiny 1 is the worse thing on earth ! I’m a day one vanilla Destiny 1 player and I took 11 months to get every exotic in the game even though I played everyday every week ! I’m not okay with handed loot but no one should be okay with that kind of loot system either !

Took me over 1,000 hours to get Gorillahorn.

Doing the same thing over and over in the same locations, its all meh....but you played 1000 hours of the same stuff over and over to get a rocket launcher, so it wasn't meh. D2 needs some help. It really does. But the only difference between d1 and d2 at launch... D2 has more content. It does. There is no possible way for you to fight it. You're arguing quality, which "more content" does not describe. So if you want to argue about content quality, list specific qualities that aren't there. D1 had more loot options. That's all. That is all. More loot options, not more loot. More terrible things in the loot table that made the good things seem really good, and made pve extremely easy. The game was easy, the rng, or luck, was hard. It was a terrible formula for a game. Addicting, like heroin, good for all the wrong reasons. This is not me defending d2, its simply me reminding people of d1, because I listened to 3 years of bitching about everything, for everyone to suddenly change their mind....people are -blam!-ing nuts. Plain and simple. That is pretty unusually weird behavior.

Well I got it one month before TTK , literally one month before it was needed ):
