Congratulations on your blessed experience with RNG in Destiny 2. However Xur is still useful for those of us who do not have lady luck on our side. I'm still waiting for the Tractor cannon and Orpheus rig to drop,so I would be happy to see the Agent of the nine stocking those particular exotics in his inventory.

I guess he's just the pessimist while you're the optimist, but Xur literally sucks in D2 compared to D1. Selling only Exotics just annoys me. Exotics were honestly my least favorite part about Xur in D1. It caused next to nothing but salt over Xur in feedback threads (I myself am guilty of it, go figure) especially when you're seven months deep into an expansion. OP is just salty and that is the nature of Xur. A few angry people get increasingly impatient and upset over the course of weeks or months, while the quiet majority continues contentedly until they've finally hit the same snag a few weeks back-to-back.

This! Engrams only drop duplicates for me. Xur is what is giving me new exotics.
