"As a developer in real life", you are making some pretty big assumptions with "the problems with D2". Your post assumes ALL of the D2 changes backfired. Your post assumes a complete "overhaul" is required. Your post claims that Bungie developers are "panicking" over these "hard truths". You claim Bungie "blam!-ed ups and that their code is "hated". Here's the thing: The ONLY thing I have read from Bungie that acknowledges a significant change needed in D2 in TWAB is the need to provide more endgame content for players that rapidly consume the content. That's it. You may be a legit developer, but in your post above you're just another ranting, frustrated fanboy hating on the game. Yes, if Bungie acknowledged all of your dislikes of the game, the changes would be significant. But that Bungie acknowledgement is just a figment of your imagination at this time.

  • Well said. Also, if this "developer" had waited to see the Bungie panel from Twitchcon, he'd have a better sense of what the future holds for D2. Finally having information about seasons, their frequency, and the kind of changes we can expect them to deploy is very encouraging. Look, we all know, and Bungie agrees, the endgame needs work. We're not even 2 months into this. Time to cool our jets a bit. The endgame and metagame will be changing in December. Expecting 1000 hours of content before the first DLC is our mistake, not Bungie's. It's unrealistic and unreasonable. Now, beyond the endgame, there are a number of smaller things that can and should be addressed. Personally, I think there are a lot of bugs that need fixing before we start worrying about extra kiosks and the like. Enemies teleporting, wiping and being unable to respawn, ammo not dropping, etc. After that, we can worry about quality of life things.

  • Wait what ? It is our fault to assume that there would be content at least for half year, that´s some premium bs right there :O "It's unrealistic and unreasonable." Yeah right cause we paid money for the product would be very unreasonable.... Destiny 2 is a good shooter but a bad RPG.....

  • D2 is a fledgling rpg. More content incoming. Leveling was fine. The weekly milestones are fine. It has a raid and pvp for those that like those activities. There will be 4 seasons a year that will shift metas. You've devoured 3 months worth of content and are whining about it.

  • No they had a first title remember ? It is at least out of the nest and trying to fly I didn't say i don´t love it. Great time hanging out with my friends and doing all that stuff but after a while it feels hollow and senseless to put time in it. I was just saying that your comment was a bit exaggerated it is not "unrealistic or unreasonable" to get a product that is not a down watered thing from the first title and wait 4 month for a dlc that fixes problems with the main game they pulled that with the first installment as well. Sry i was a bit on the offensive side on that last comment No hard feelings :)
